Hi. New to the site, and I own a copy of a jazz bass (sunburst) which some joker has stuck a fender sticker on the headstock (now peeling off!) It plays well and the neck is in v good nick, I hav had it for 20+ years and am now looking to selll. Any ideas how I would identify when and by whom it was made? The headstock and tuners are smaller than fenders, and the backplate simply states "made in japan". It was re-wired a few years ago and new pots fitted (I believe) I can post some pix if anyone's interested Cheers Andy
