Not sure what your budget is and what accesoires your kid already has. +A set of straplocks is always great. Schaller, Dunlop, Loxx.. can't really go wrong with the name brands. +Behringer v-tone Bdi 21 pedal Always good to have a direct line to the mixing desk with a bit of your favourite sound. +A set of his favourite strings. +A nice guitar strap has been mentioned, I like Marusczyk padded straps. +D'Addario Guitar Maintenance Kit for Bass. Has every tool for setups to string changes. +Mono cases bass gig bag. The best way to protect a bass on the go that's also portable. Headphones for silent practice at home, a comfy padded stool, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface for the computer, LESSONS or a workshop, a good guitar stand, Driver's license... So many things! I tried listing in ascending order of cost a bit. Oh last but not least, all bass players really really want one thing above all else... Another bass guitar.

Oh good shout!

Loxx strap locks are the very best I've found over the decades. https://www.thomann.de/nl/loxx_security_lock_gd.htm?msclkid=e35230d12d7e14bb51b455a07292edd9&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping NL&utm_term=4576167415641879&utm_content=GI Flat fit, strong, lasting and secure, no squeeking and faster to click on and off than the Grolsch washers.

Cliff Burton and Rob Trujillo please

I thought the original, while not as technically advanced, was at least a better experience. None of that 'classical music starts with class' snobbery, but just contemporary tunes for those that want to enjoy them!

Planet of the apes but with a less developed group of humanoids?

Totally Original and not a Chinese Knock Off at all

I'd sand the fender decal off but other than that it looks about 18% better than an actual fender -
Not the year I remember but I listen/look on youtoob a lot too.

Where would 'great' score?

"guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles." I'm getting two!

I can't stress enough how isolation is only going to make dealing with mild sounds more and more difficult. Please see about retraining to accept sound into your life again under care of an audiologist or psychologist that is familiar with the problem. I'm saying this as a medical professional in the field of audiometry. Avoidance can only lead to more misery, social isolation and possibly deep depression. There is a way up and out but it's hard work and nearly impossible without professional help.

These have been serving me for about four years I think. Zero issues!

Looks ideal for the job.

I either wear a longer t-shirt or tuck it into my trousers.

Mumford and Dads?

I think it's the dapper moustache.

I'd like to think this is how it works in my band (we have 1 extra guitar player) as I have the same roles. Unfortunately I suspect that I'm a massive princess.

No pants, classic!

You have to spend £300 on effects pedals for tonight's gig…

Cali76 deluxe and a power supply. -
I'd look at 2x12 instead of a 15 incher or it would have to be a very impressive make to keep from going muddy in those conditions. I played an old Peavey tvx 410 for a while that was very impressive, tighter than it's ampeg counterpart. No clue how that translates to the current cabs.

One reason why greatest guitarist lists are redundant

Greatest guitar player is like greatest dog owner. Very nice for those directly involved. The broad world could care less but it'd have to put in some effort. -
Two Amps Developed Similar Issues Simultaneously... How/Why?
Bolo replied to binky_bass's topic in Repairs and Technical
Tried the amps on different cabs? And the cabs with different amps? Checked for leaks or damp conditions? -
No ramps, they get in the way and look sketchy at best.

Ah I always forget people like different things. The .73 are my standard selection although I have played the .88 for a while. Three tips for the price of one:

How do you break a pick? I've been playing for about 30 years, mostly with a pick. Couldn't break it if I tried! There's always a few in my right front pocket though, should I lose one.
