    I think a pvc slide buckle will be a time saver, as you do not have to punch out all the holes that are in conventional straps

    My special one was an Anthrax 'Fist full of Metal' shirt I got for my 14th birthday. Treasured it until only the bit with the print on was left ^_^ A mate gathered all his old tourshirts, stitched them all together and now owns the world's awesomest ( and probably most expensive) picnic blanket.

    Only sold my first two basses, The first one sucked for me (P bass named Flasher). A mate enjoyed it for years after a proper setup. Second bass was a Ibanez soundgear 500, served me well untill I switched to 5 strings.

    Maybe a Dobro/resonator type. There is no escaping a side by side comparison to hear the differences yourself though.

    Stingrays are not very popular this year it seems, although the pre-EBs are hyped a bit. Work the price down as much as you can, and make sure you won't HAVE to sell at an inconvenient time. As long as you don't enter the modding swamp it should be solid. Also, lovely things to hear and play
