1. This is proper studio quality gear! Good luck & have a bump.
2.

I still vote korean crossdresser.
3. So how come nobody in w-europe is manufacturing übertübes? (Now there's a brand name!) There is obviously a demand. Is it filthy labour-intensive work that only illiterate exploitable peasants will take?
4. Edit: Warwick Vampyre DarkLord. Stock F#BEA tuning, 35"scale.
5.
Not convinced, but pass my compliments on to whoever designed your website - looks great
+1 too bad it fails on android. I would totally get these bulbs on visual design alone!
6. I'm with Happy Jack on this one, here's more evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=387ZDGSKVSg
7. Out of the two I'd vote focusrite. Roland's quadcapture is good too though!
8. I will not pick up an ugly bass. Supposing someone caught it on camera? I'd lose all my street-cred! I want to look awesome playing bass, it helps. So looks first, then feel. Play it unplugged for a while so you're not distracted by the sound of that £2k+ rig you plugged in to. Lastly the trivial stuff like sound, the missus' anger level, and actually being able to pay for the thing. The bass I mean. At this point you may have reduced your options to one or two examples. Pick one at random, pay, go home. Return it the next day, apologise for your mistake and bring home the one you really wanted, now that sense is no longer a factor. Easy!
9. Try the GK neo stuff! Other than that it's usually two out of three when it comes to loud, lightweight, low price.
10. LYL - " How's your Fender?" 'Red, long, and stiff. How's yours?'
11. Jazz appears to be a field where highly skilled musicians prove to be very poor songwriters.

Practice
That would be my ideal and was my plan. I prefer getting practice done early, rather than doing it late in the evening. However, for the last seven months my one year old has been waking several times in the night and getting up between 5:30 and 6 :-(
It'll get better. Have fun with the little one and they'll be fun for you
13. Maybe try to place Napalm Death in their historic perspective? Edit: nice to hear you had a good time
14. Nobody needs a P bass, you're probably just going through withdrawals.
15.
Arrange a charity gig, a HUGE one, get it televised worldwide and invite all your favourite artistes to play. Then jam with them.
I do this every thursday! Always the same gits turn up
16. Any tailor/clothes repair/shoe repair/leatherworker/sailmaker etc could stitch a solid strap to a gigbag. Those clasps are always fashioned out of cheap metals or pvc plastic and will not take any sort of abuse. Even a puff of wd40 or siliconspray may triple their longevity!
17. A tiny desk in the corner of the bedroom However she keeps my basses on display in the livingroom That way she keeps track of any sneak purchase. :/ She makes up for it by being awesome though
18.
the next step is a matter of finding a guitar shop with a decent range on offer, then going along and plugging in to a few.
Spot on!
19. "Do it. I'm down to two usable basses and one in bits. There's only one that ever gets taken to gigs though and that's the Stingray"
20. That got annoying when he stacked all that feedback. I have beaten guitards down for pulling that sh*t! Good craftsmanship controlling all what was going on though.
21. All I hear about 8inchers is people raving about the SWR henry. There is a henry jr. 4x8 aswell, that may be interesting to checj out for coupling with your current setup.
22. I have no problems, back or elsewhere. However private sessions going one-on-one with a pilates certified ostheopathic instructeuse sounds like I may have found a new hobby!
23. No fair! I apply to 3/5th of the settings
24. Most seem to sound great and are quality instruments. I will not buy a bass that has a penis for top horn.
25. A small mixer is best. Everything you need in the mixer, headphones or monitor (powered desktop speaker for instance) out.
