My EBS chorus pedal just arrived, a day after payment! An absolutely brilliant little pedal and a great experience all round, chuffed with everything. Have no reservations when dealing with Mark. Thanks again.

All my bases are belonging to drop B then 1+1/2 steps down. There strings with a 'denser?' coil for down tuning, I have not picked any up yet but will be getting some of these from Labella: http://www.labella.com/products/dt54/ not sure if gimmick so will try them out soon, thickness seems regular?

Cool, the mr black eterna is apparently good with low end. Im interested in the Wet Pedal. like a multieffect due to the patches and way to can assign tasks to different pots and dials. Cheers guys.

Hi guys, is there a specific 'shimmer' effect for bass guitar. It seems odd as not many bassists would be after that sound but any body know of any about? Best I have got to it is a sea machine with ps2, the only problem with this is that there is no set tracking is for SM effect. Not money bags so no strymon bluesky... is that only option?

I had one years ago and moved it on. It was actually a great pedal for recording via the USB but I dont like using multi effect units, even once I had ordered and arranged sounds for specific sets. The expression pedal only worked on a very few effects. It would be been even better if it could blend the dry with effect but from memory it didnt.

Ah, ok, cheers guys for info and advice. The noise changes charcter (goes from crackle to fizz (nice fizz)) and is minimal depending on the amp I run it through. 40w practice rocktec, terrible, ashdown cab much better. SovBM is really noisey. Will look into bias. Thanks again.

Dude, you're the boss!

Hi guys, When playing long sustained notes i get some crackle/noise that appears when the note finishes or when played too strongly, so im presuming this is noise, as its unwanted sound. Would a noise gate solve this completely without cutiing out anything else? Looking at wiki it days that gates attenuate selected levels of sound, where as this sound appears at both low and high levels. Would a gate work or have i just got a noisy signal that is unlovable? Cheers guys.

Thanks guys. I will leave the cheap stuff on the cheap stuff shelf and stay away from ebay. Truckstop & Phil Star - nice one thanks. I must stop looking on ebay after pub. brensabre - Thanks for mentioning the ohms, to be honest I have just connected all the gear and turned it to 11, I think I really need to look at this to sort it out. In terms of the size, I thought it was surface area related to the amount of physical air and vibration of the wave form. I was basically thinking that 2 big ones would be better than 4 little ones. Size matters eh... so, because I know my 'cred' cant exactly get any lower at this point, the doodle just explains my miscomphrension of how things work. EDIT: reading that link brensabre - I think this is a dispersion issue, maybe

Hi guys. I have a small rig, ashdown 210 350W that I also run a 4x10 peavey cab with. Loud enough for rehearsal and such but I really want to start pushing the air with 15's or even 18's. I know ampeg have a good rep and that I should look into them as a solution, although I would need to buy a head/combi as I can not run anything else from ashdown. Nut on a completely different angle, does anyone have any experience using 'karaoke' amps, like the stuff on ebay. All the bundle deals on ebay seem to be really cheap and I was wondering whether that will obviously translate into a cheap sound, Im just soo tempted to get 2 active 15's for little over £150. Is this cheapo approach laughable?

Cab rattle, buzz, distortion sound won't go

square wave invader! I had to sort out my bass pots recently to stop this happening, I thought it was the amp cab but it was the pots. -
I too would like a review, SHEP!
Here's a great site for compressor reviews. http://www.ovnilab.com/
Thanks mate, a great read here. Now to find a cheapish low end sustain pedal with little noise, ...gulp! EDIT: last night, I actually paid attention to how I had laid things out and I got an emmense cavenous doomy synth (insert other cool adjectives) sound from this chain. I have unnecessarily doodled it down, yknow, Ive learnt something
