Went to see Culture Club at the O2 last night. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I thought it was very good. it was my wife’s choice to go (I had to go with her after all the times I’ve made her come and see Iron Maiden with me lol) it was a good production and Boy George was in good voice. Mikey Craig was playing a nice 5 string Fender Jazz, the bass was very prominent in the mix and I enjoyed listening to that.

I bought an Ibanez SRMS625EX in the summer which had 5 strings and fanned frets. I had never played a 5 string or fanned frets before. I got used to the fanned frets straight away but it had taken me longer to get used to the extra string, but now I have, I love the bass and the frets

Same. I also adjust the amp volume in the app if needs be as well

I have a Boss Katana Go which I love. You can stream your phone too it and play along through the headphones. they got discontinued but plenty on eBay etc

I think this would have been Vox, Dartford museum has a small display about Vox in it.

I picked up a Line 6 HX One recently, and the Clawthorne Drive on there is really good, as is the copy of the B3K.

I got two sets 4 years apart and the newer pair seemed twice the size of the old pair! I did query it with ACS but they said my ears had just changed shape!

ACS custom all the way. I’ve been using the Pro 26s for years, as like you am struggling with hearing loss and tinnitus. once you are used to them you will never want to play with out them. I had to wear them went I went to see AC/DC the other week as that was also deafening! have a search around as you can usually find a voucher code for 10 or 15% off

I have the AO 500 amp, and I am pretty sure you can use the cab sim on the headphone amp for that. I’d have to check to be sure. As an aside, I ended up buying a Katana Go for my practice solution and it’s awesome. I was going to get a B7k ultra V2 but got the katana go instead. The Bluetooth playback and minimal amount of cables is great.

It does - just. Need to have it at a funny angle to do so, but it does fit. I picked one up at the weekend, first impressions are that it sounds great but seems a bit flimsy. I am worried about putting it in the Ibanez at the funny angle, that it will eventually snap. it goes into my jazz bass special and Ibanez guitar ok though

A low point for me in an old band was having to play Hurt by Johnny Cash which is about as depressing as it gets! Definitely not suited to a pub rock cover band!

Nice! how do you find the neck of the duff deluxe, vs the jazz bass special? I have the duff jazz bass special but read that the neck is thicker on the duff deluxe

I only need to go down half a step, but my action is quite low and buzzy as it is so worry physically tuning down half step will just make it worse

Thanks for letting me know. The rest of the pedal does look & sound great from all the videos I’ve seen
