  1. Up for sale here is my Spector Legend Classic 4 bass in slate grey.

I've owned this for approx 10 months and I bought it used from Wunjo Bass. Its a 2009 model (serial number confirmed by PJ at Spector). Its in good condition, but there is some buckle rash on the back from the previous owner. The bass has recently had a new input jack fitted and all the wiring checked/serviced at Wunjo's by Kevin.

This is a fantastic bass to play, with a great range of sounds courtesy of the Tonepump circuit on the active pickups. It has a really fast smooth neck, which I have found to be perfect for our rock covers band.

Pictures are below, together with a link to Spector website with further details.

I'm based in Dartford and would prefer collection, or meet up at Canary Wharf/Central London, or I am happy to deliver within a reasonable distance of Dartford for cost of petrol. Alternatively, I travel to Lincolnshire once a month or so if that suits anyone better. Price is £275

Please let me know of any further questions, thanks for looking!

  2. Up for sale is my GK MB200 amp head, in great condition and with original box.

This ultra light and small amp fits easily in a gig bag and I have used it as a backup to my main amp. However, it is getting used a lot so its time to move it on.

The 200 watt output is great, considering the amps size. Its ideal for home use, practicing with head phones or smaller gigs.

There a couple of tiny marks on the top of the head which I've tried to show in picture 4.

Please get in touch with any further questions.

I'm looking for £175 to include postage in the UK.

Collection from nr Dartford is also OK.

    Details/specs are below:

  3. Up for sale is my Sharp Concepts custom made diamond cut metal scratch plate to fit a P bass.

It was custom made in the USA in 2005 by Sharp Concepts. I had it fitted to a 2003 Fender MIM P Bass, but no longer have the bass so the pickguard is up for sale.

A couple of pictures are attached, including one fitted to a bass (not included in the sale!).

I'm after £25 posted ono. - now SOLD

  4. Thanks for all the responses and opinions.
Me and the band are very much looking forward to it (which perhaps didnt come across in my original post), as its taken us 10 years to break into something like this and will be a nice change from pubs.
Ill let you all know how it goes in a couple of weeks and maybe post a picture of the final outfits.

Im off to M&S to purchase some slacks! :)

  5. Don't get me wrong, im not being precious about it.

It will just feel weird belting out guns n roses, bon jovi, stones etc in chinos!

They booked us on the strength of a couple of YouTube videos in which our singer was wearing a glittery silver bandana and eye liner!

Oh well, hopefully it will be a good gig :)

  6. We have a gig coming up at an RAF base soon which could be a big opportunity for us to get regular gigs at other bases.

Firstly, does anyone have any experiene of playing at these places, if so what are they like?

Secondly, we have been told that there is a dress code for people attending the event, including the band. They want chinos for men and cocktail dresses for women. We are a hard rock covers band and are going to end up looking like Michael Buble's backing band :(
