Fodera Emperor 5 Standard Classic - *WITHDRAWN*

The math is correct, but technically : 17*5=85 since there’s only 5 “gaps” between strings in a sixer. 85/4 is then 21.25. So same result, but what you described is for a 7-string versus a sixer. Anyway, this wide spacing would fit my spider fingers so perfectly… too bad it’s on the other side of the pond. I miss my old Modulus.

Does it have wide string spacing (19 mm), or are my eyes just fooling me?

Did you get the coil splits as well? Gorgeous bass! ❤️
Hi Dave Each pickup has it's own split on its respective volume control so you can run any combination of humbucker & single coil. With both pickups in single coil mode it does sound very much like EMG's J pickup set, a favourite of mine. Oddly enough i had comtemplated the exact same thing but the delivery time & lack of a discount steered me to this one. I can't say i was disapointed, it is a very versatile setup, I particularly like the bridge in singlecoil & neck in humbucking which is very full sounding but with a bit of Jazz like honk.
Do you have anything recorded with the bass?
