Hi all, this is my rather beautiful and rare Sterling Dargie Delight II, made in USA, dated 2009. It is really in excellent condition, i cant find a mark on it to mention in this ad. All works as it should and it had a recent service. its tonally very flexible with a three way switch that works on the magnetic pickup, and dip switches you can adjust for the Piezo, but to be honest it is a very subtle change when you adjust them , or, your hearing must be better than mine! It also has a very musical 3EQ. I tend to play it in the mid pickup position with the Piezo slightly on, or front pickup only. the balance, finish, and neck are sublime it has to be said, and the paint finish is two-tone and changes with the light. i love the fretboard and mother of pearl markers. No Martini glass on this model but i prefer these personally. it comes with the original Musicman case, which is also in good condition. Anyway, only selling as i fancy a change, and would consider trades for : Spector Euro Fender USA Precision Fender Jazz Elite ( rosewood neck) Dingwall Combustion 4/2 or 4/3 show me what you have! thanks and any questions please ask away. Always happy to chat to fellow Bass Chatters, so send me a pm. Oh, and i should have some half decent feedback lurking around here somewhere? cheers, Mike

I am removing my Sire V7 preamp - complicated and not well voiced imho - for a Sadowsky 4, which includes the nice VTC control……

Hi all here is my super versatile Boss Katana 210 in as new condition. It has the AB amp, rather than class D and really packs a punch, plus it has programmable tones, effects and loads of lovely fiddle about knobs! only used for rehearsale once , and otherwise home use. In terms of performance i would say its high end, and more like a 500w rig, even though the AB amp is classed at 160w. It delivers very good bass tone, and the high end is not too glassy. But as i say you can change the eq parameters for all settings with the Boss app. its 46lbs which is too heavy for me for gigging, but some of you youngsters out there probably wont worry! only selling, as i am no longer gigging ( thank god!) and i am now a home fiddler and recordist ( is that a word?) it comes with the original box and all goodies, and i have tried to price as a bargain as they are £560 at Andertons. i dont really want to send it, but i am happy if you want to have it collected at your risk? thanks for looking, Mike

Purchased a very nice bass tab book from David, who is a lovely chap to deal with. Recommended without hesitation, repetition, or anything else! top chap.

Check out the review by Bass Lobster, who also did a fab upgrade ( which i will be copying) with EMG pickups and eq. i like mine alot, its fun to play , but its nowhere near a USA Stingray, its a completely different bass. For a start a 38mm neck width, which i prefer personally. The stock EQ is pretty rubbish, but you actually do get what you pay for, lol, and i bought mine as a mod platform.

Amazing! Glad you are having fun and enjoying it. I think the type of gig is important, and it looks like you are playing brilliant gigs!! 👏👏

Excellent news. That Burgundy Mist is rather nice. my wife asked me why i needed another bass. ‘ you can only play one at a time’ etc etc……. (Sigh….)

Luckily for me the Jazz weighs over 10lb. My finger was hovering over the add to basket button!

Recently picked one up at GAK for £425. massive value for money, and it sounds very good. handles rehearsals and gigs without blinking, no extra cab needed. but….. prefer using my trolley when carting it about…… at this price its worth a punt.

Stubzy's Road Testz - Orange Terror Bass
Harlequin74 replied to Stub Mandrel's topic in Amps and Cabs
Really interesting, thanks Stub. I have the same cab, and it is truly thunderous! I have been tempted by the Orange, so it was a weird coincidence that i saw your review. I have the GR Dual amp at present, very powerful and loads of features, but……. Yeah, you know. Its a character thing. The Terror seems to ooze warmth and character….. thanks again. -
Thanks all, some fab people on this forum! Much appreciated.

I have learnt alot from this thread, thank you! one question though, is the watt to output ratio linear? So, if i run my Orange Terror 500 at half volume , is it operating at 250 watts? ( running thru 2x obc112 400w cabs)
