1. I would love on of those shirts. Oh yes, and a youthful body to fit in it.
2.
He's also on BC... http://basschat.co.uk/user/13970-miki-groove/
Of course. Where else would he be?
3. Jeez, that's amazing.
4. Funnily enough, Kylie is on radio 2 right now singing Can't get you etc etc Superb vid, great playing and nice dog.
5.
That makes it a bit more than a 20 minute walk
And I believe once you get there you might be disappointed to find that they are mail order only.
6. That is a bit special. Nice work.
7. That's a coincidence, there was one for sale on here earlier today. I hope you love it to bit, it's a beautiful looking bass.
8.
Glad this sold quickly. A very honest ad;)
Agreed. One man's meat is another man's soya sausage....
9. I've got one in the natural finish and I love it. Was my first fretless and opened the door to a whole new world. Come on budding fretless players, how can you lose for 50 quid?
10. I don't blame you. Too good to give away.
11. Hang on, hang on, if he were trying that one he wouldn't have declared an inflated value to his missus, he would have told her "it only cost me £50.00 darling, less than a pair of your shoes or a hair-do. Explain that one....
12.
"Darling, I TRIED to sell the bass. I listed it at just over a quarter for what it goes for new. It's the economy... You don't want me to give it away do you?"
Oh yesssss.
13.
Me too, but it's not good for me these days.
Heck!!!
14. Bought Songs for Tailor in 1970 with one of my very first pay packets. On the strength of this threads recommendations I have ordered Harmony Row from Amazon which should be delivered today.
15. As a long time Steely Dan fan I couldn't believe my luck when I was able to buy tickets for the "Empire Pool Wembley" gig in the 90's when Becker and Fagen started getting back together. I thought they were awful, the attention to detail was replaced by a "loose jam" sort of attitude. Fair enough, it was their gig, but I had to walk out when they murdered Ricki, and I spent the rest of the night in the bar (which was nice). By contrast, around the same time I saw the Eagles twice in Wembley Satdium, and of course their attention to detail was faultless. I must admit I would prefer to remember Kate as she was.
16. Now if they were to list them as: Ex Pete Townshend...................

18. Mike and I didn't have the easiest of times. My "trusted" local courier let us down big time by 24 hours, and there was uncertainty until the end. Thankfully all was well in the end, and Mike was a proper gent despite all the aggro.
19. Seals and Croft did some good songs, Summer Breeze for eg. BUT, it was good to hear Jack in fine fettle and still with his sense of humour. At least I can turn off radio2 now and put some music on.
20.
What to do? I love Jack Bruce but Steve Wright is a monumental bell-end... Thanks for the heads-up, though.
I listen most days, I try to somehow work "selective hearing". How many times have I heard a really good song, and have to go on the website playlist to find out who it's by because he doesn't say. After all. the records are secondary to the DJ, right? (or Wright).
21. Being interviewed this afternoon on BBC Radio 2 by Steve Wright.
22. I can play A, E and D. Nothing else though! What a lovely thought, a proper gig. Then I woke up.......
23. Haven't been to that many, but as noted above most are dives, but the nicest I've been to is West Star in High Wycombe. I think the owners of these damp any dirty studios think that WE are damp and dirty and treat us with as much respect as their rooms. Perhaps they need to be told...........
