1.
I don't like any shop that has no 'real world' contact name, location, address or even telephone number shown on their website. Not for me.
Agreed. Website looks quite decent, but to only be able to contact by email is a worry. It's nice to know you are dealing with real people.
2. Seb bought my Japanese Precision yesterday. A pleasure to deal with. Absolutely straight, and a fascinating guy. Despite coming by train, he was dead on time and we were finished all too quickly. Thanks for a pleasant and easy deal, couldn't have asked for better.
3. R.I.P.
4. Saw Jeff Beck, I thought he actually talked more than I expected him to. The revelation of Ms Batten giving HIM pep talks made I chuckle.
5. Perhaps it'll cost you "One more silver dollar" to buy the 8 Track as well.

7. "Money" will be for you then.
8.
Well then, that guy on the cover of Abbey Road is a genius twice over, i.e. a great impersonator and a great bassist.
I did wonder how the three surviving Beatles managed to find someone who looked, sounded and played like Paul. But he's definitely dead, it clearly states so on the in between grooves of the Walrus when played backwards at 125 mph.
9. That's not Paul, he's dead. The "image" of him on the crossing at Abbey Road with no shoes on proves it.
10.
Yes, see what you mean. It all seemed pretty terminal on wednesday, but now I don't give a damn. My replacement is by all accounts a pretty competent player, but also has a reputation of throwing toys. Good luck to 'em.
Guess what band are advertising for a bass player...... Hardy Harrrrrr.
11. AND it's Leo Fender who is the seller. Must be good then.

13. Nice work
14. Another "I give up" moment.
15. Thanks for your help chaps, much appreciated.
16. I'm thinking about moving on my old P bass. It's a Japanese one, with a serial number which dates it to 1989/90. Can't remember exactly when I bought it but most likely 1994 give or take, which at least rules out it being a modern fake. As far as I'm aware it's bog standard, black body with white pickguard, no tinware, maple neck and firetboard. Has a few minor dings, nowt major. Anybody care to hazard a guess. Thanks in advance. Phil
17. Bloody disease, good luck Pete.
18. I think it's really sad to see so many pubs closed, or becoming Thai or Indian restaurants, or "local" supermarkets. However things change, communities change, people change. TV choice and cheap supermarket booze means people get more entertainment at home. Personally I don't think it's the pubco's fault, all they are doing is making a business out of the situation. Same seems to be happening in lots of trades, the big get bigger, and the small die.
19. £90.00 collected?
20. A proper gentleman. Can't recommend highly enough for a smooth and pleasant transaction.
21. SOLD to Grangur. Many thanks.
22. Not expecting to in the foreseeable I'm afraid, sorry.
