Still think that's proper nice, and if I didn't have my Sadowsky Metro J, I'd have been all over a trade deal with this.
Still trying to fight the urge to be honest, but trying to keep to two basses for now!!
These are lovely basses. I've got the deluxe version of this - on sale here actually. I just wish I'd bought the 4-string version instead and I'd be keeping it, finding the neck width just a tad uncomfortable for me.
Certainly looks in good nick from the photos I've seen. The seller has also been in touch with me to see if I'd be interested in a trade for my Lakland 55-02 I have for sale on the same webpage, so it's certainly tempting. Thinking of asking him if he'd be willing to drop to £500 and see how it goes...
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. There's one of these for sale around my area which caught my eye. The seller is asking for £600 which I thought was perhaps over priced. It's a butterscotch finish with maple neck, bridge and pickup covers and is advertised as a 1994 MIJ model with Seymour Duncan SCPB-3 Quarter Pound 'Bassline' pickup. Any thoughts?
The full 20 minute segment is worth a watch as well...

Here's my recently acquired MV4. This will be with me a very long time I think...

Always thought 'Ocean Cover Scene' would be a good tribute name.
You'd only get about two albums worth of decent material to work with though before you start to find the dross.....well, IMO.
