    After a number of weeks looking into a variety of combo options and trying to work out how much I can afford to pay out, I think I've finally decided I'm going to fork out for one of the Genz Benz Contour 500 combos, but I, not entirely sure what one I would prefer. This is probably a pretty obvious question I'm about to ask, but what would be preferable model, 1 x 15" or 2 x 10"? In other words, what's the pros and cons of each? I'm going to be playing in a function covers band, playing everything from modern pop, classic rock, Motown etc, all sorts really. Ta much!

    Hey, I've been asked if I will ship my Lakland I've currently got advertise on here to Italy. having never sold anything on here before, let alone shipping to oversees, looking for some advice on how best to receive payment (safest option) and also who's best to use for the shipping that will allow for tracking and confirmed signature upon receipt. Just looking at a quick search on Google, it seems its going to cost anywhere between £90 - £120 included for VAT. Seems a bit steep, no? Cheers, Dougie.

    Cheers for the reply, ended up giving it a miss for now though. I only started looking the last few days, so I decided not to dive in a buy the first thing I see, which was in hindsight kinda daft really, as I'm sure I would've recouped the cash it would've cost if I decided to move it on.

    I'm looking for a P type bass, not necessarily Fender, and this fitted the bill... Just wish someone would take my 55-02 off my hands to fund though!!

    It's actually an eBay link I found, someone looking for £150, based in Glasgow, less than an hour left on it and no bids as yet. Dare say if it doesn't sell, I could contact the guy direct to see if if I could go try it out. Having only got a wee 30w practice amp at home, I'm now in need of gigging worthy amp and it just caught my eye.
