Thanks, yes I had a look inside - two big PCBs stacked together covered with bits and bobs! I like the sound of the filter side, but as it sounds like a band pass (which I prefer for the quack) it needs dry below it too. The octave/synth side is great actually, and works fine currently. I've never been a huge fan of octaves but this one sounds really musical and the synth/fuzz that you can add in gives it a bit of a unique bite. I've downloaded your C4 patches and will give those a try later!

OK it's on it's way to Meridian tomorrow. They have very kindly offered to fix it free of charge. Fingers crossed!! It's certainly a nice pedal to look at!

I think they slimmed down the ‘waist’ a bit comparing the two online

Always wanted to try one. My SB1 says hello!! Unusual to see an early sB2 with the crackle paint

I’ve literally never seen a tortoise that colour

My sound is akin to the noise of a wet hand spanking an empty Wellington boot

Agree - I find them a bit too spacious and honest for listening to music but they're amazing for playing along to things because it doesn't seem like everything is fighting for space.

Just worked out a 9V battery would last about 5hrs (assuming the draw is 100ma presumably when it's turned on... not sure what it would be when bypassed?) Would be tempted to make a battery option for easy use

You like telling us all that you were banned... posting rubbish like that will get you kicked out of here, too.

More commonly known as Leo - we want people to be able to join the site after all. Thanks though Mr. Guitarman!

Welcome, we’re all going a bit crazy here in the UK and could probably use some stabilising influence from the US! Or should that be stabilizing?

I’ve posted an announcement that’s visible to guests to welcome them and offer tea and cake. Kind of hoped everyone here would be cool about it and not use it as an opportunity to slag off TB.

Well some of us still are.

Personally I wish the TB team all the best and will help them if I can. Must be a nightmare.

I quite like the idea personally, and would be tempted to have one if I was building a bass or having one made (although I'd never personally order a custom bass). I probably wouldn't retrofit one to an existing instrument.
