  1. Sounds like a limiter/comp might help. Set a high ratio and back off the threshold so that it kicks in when you dig in on the B string. Should have a natural sounding effect on the overall output whilst leaving dynamics below the threshold unaffected (depending on the comp/limiter obvs)
  2. You may be able to change this in your browser. Try 'accessibility' options, like high contrast.
  3. I have seen some issues when the intended recipient has punctuation in their username. PM me if you're stuck.
  4. I don't think so currently. We will see in future updates.
  5. Working fine - may be a blocker your end.
  6. It means the post is under £50 and you don't have a sub, so it needs to be manually approved.
  7. Yes, what would you prefer?
  8. I don't think you can actually, so you may need to post a new one.
  9. Done!
  10. Because it's a Q+A type forum, as opposed to a discussion. Doesn't always fit because people often throw in a comment but essentially what you're meant to see is the OP and the 'right' answer.
  11. I didn’t even realise the J pickups in my Celinder were hum cancelling until recently! I think the pickups are specifically designed to work with the preamp
  12. Offers by PM to the seller please folks
  13. We don’t advise using no fee (gift) PayPal generally
  14. There’s something about old flats that gets better over time. Not quite the same but I changed the Cobalt flats on my stingray recently. The originals are a very old set that have been on a few basses. Pretty chewed up at the pegs but stable. They sound incredible on the MM but curiosity got the better of me so I changed them and out the old ones in the bin. I’m not sure if the strings have changed but they didn’t sound anything like as good as the old ones. The old strings have tons of top end still despite their age and sound more like dead rounds. The new ones look and feel different. As my wife came home from work she found me fishing them out of the bin! Put them back on - perfect!!
  15. I’ve just nutted the server tower, has that helped?
  16. Price drop to £85 - you won't find a better limiter for the price (maybe)
  17. Price drop to £90
  18. Maybe when I can get someone to figure it out - I tried to put them in there but it made keeping track of orders a right pain so decided to keep it separate!
  19. It’s mostly because the bulk shipper I use only offers UK service (always have). If I sell internationally I’d have to use a second service for those which will be more expensive and trickier to organise this end - I’m not ruling it out though and may well add that option in the future 👍🏼
  20. Hehe I'll be sending you some with the first batch!
  21. https://www.basschatlocks.co.uk Now available for sale to UK customers only Four strap locks for £6 including postage! Being luminous orange (to match our branding) they are very hard to photograph but I think this picture shows them most faithfully. They match the orange around the logo font very well. You'll see when you order that shipping is done in batches, and collected from my house every couple of weeks, so please bear that in mind when purchasing. Here are some more pictures to tempt you, and some ideas for uses even if you hate bass guitars and strap locks in general. I actually have one on my keys! Got your strap locks? Show us a picture of yours 'in situ' here! Cheers ped
  22. I’m thinking about charging EU scum

There’s nothing quite like it. It’s a great club but I joined shortly before starting a new job which means I can’t really go now during the week and the weekends are impossible to find any spare time. I’ve done a fair bit of flying and don’t think anything compares to the feeling of a glider. I’ve sat in the winch a few times; that’s a cool piece of kit. It’s a big V8 attached to a pulley. Sounds amazing at full revs. There are quite a few BCers around Pock actually. I did think about opening a bass shop in York at one point (easy train ride from London)
