  1. I’d be interested to hear. I got a lifetime warning for saying ‘Piss’ on there years ago!!

    1spot supply

Thanks mate that’s very kind, typically of me I went for it and purchased the combo pack last night without asking here first!!

    1spot supply

Yeah I read about problems with the plug. Mine will be home use only just to reduce the amount of cabling around my desk so I can keep an eye on it. One bonus is that the power block doesn’t ‘squeak’ like my cheap ones which emit a high pitched whistle when turned on.

Thanks, but misleading that they out the image of the additional cables on the page. I’ve ordered the combo pack anyway as I’d like to be prepared/have an excuse to buy more things. Cheers for the help!

    1spot supply

Thanks, that’s what has me confused - the ‘combo pack’ which is more says it comes with an 8 plug cable, but there’s one pictured on that link too, so I assume it doesn’t actually come with one?! I might be going crazy but my brain can’t process it this evening

    1spot supply

Hi folks I need a power supply for my three pedals that run into my Roland Future Impact Source Audio C4 TC Ditto / other random pedal Currentky all three have their own power supply (cheap jobs from local music shop) which work ok but they are slightly noisy when turned on with the pedal itself turned off. Luckily I can switch off the supplies when not using and there’s no noise at all. Would the 1Spot work for these guys and be quieter? And does the 1spot come with a long daisy chain? I haven’t got the energy to work out the Bass Direct product page at the moment; it seems as though I can buy a bundle which is the charger plus cable?
  9. I didn't taste the strap locks
  10. They're just better full stop. In all seriousness I tried tons of prototypes and found the best type of rubber (some are too soft, some are way too hard) and got the thickness to what I wanted.
  11. I think maybe the Kickstarter ones had a micro toggle switch instead of the mini push button switch but could be wrong.
  12. I’ve emailed a few times and never heard back. Tbh he could make a website on Wix for free that’s twice as good! I’ll do it for him!
  13. I didn't know they did that. Interesting. So is there a specific version or something?
  14. Is he? I’ve never met him. Blurred lines was a rubbish song but it has that in common with all sorts of over sexualised rubbish manufactured pop crap. Frankly I’m more ashamed that people bought and promoted it as a piece of music, not that the lyrics are a bit dodgy (far from the dodgiest!) BTW it’s me on bass @bubinga5
  15. I think everyone here would support the idea of having a few more and bidding yourself into oblivion 😂
  16. Pickup position is number one in my book. Then the response of the bass is influenced by construction and stiffness of the body/neck.
  17. I personally think it definitely matters. Even if that’s just in my head, that’s where it matters so that’s all there is to it!
  18. Looks like you’ve put that one on a King Cobra instead 🐍
  19. I’d much rather file the groove a bit than wedge something in the neck personally - each to their own though! You can always buy a spare saddle.
  20. Collection only but I’m not sure where I am at the moment, I’m in the boot of someone’s car
  21. I’ve also got one hanging from the underside of my desk so when I unplug my bass I can put my jack into the hole and it hangs in place. Tonight I’m having some for dinner - they just need shallow frying
  22. The bridge saddles are quite big barrels. On my Pre EB ray I have the G string as low as it can go which is just right but to go as low as my full time slapper I’d need to file the groove down a bit. That can be done easily with some abrasive cord. Because of my technique and lack of energy I have done this on most of my basses!
