  1. I think maybe the Kickstarter ones had a micro toggle switch instead of the mini push button switch but could be wrong.
  2. Many happy returns!!
  3. I’ve emailed a few times and never heard back. Tbh he could make a website on Wix for free that’s twice as good! I’ll do it for him!
  4. I didn't know they did that. Interesting. So is there a specific version or something?
  5. Is he? I’ve never met him. Blurred lines was a rubbish song but it has that in common with all sorts of over sexualised rubbish manufactured pop crap. Frankly I’m more ashamed that people bought and promoted it as a piece of music, not that the lyrics are a bit dodgy (far from the dodgiest!) BTW it’s me on bass @bubinga5
  6. I think everyone here would support the idea of having a few more and bidding yourself into oblivion 😂
  7. Why’s it a bargain?
  8. Pickup position is number one in my book. Then the response of the bass is influenced by construction and stiffness of the body/neck.
  9. I personally think it definitely matters. Even if that’s just in my head, that’s where it matters so that’s all there is to it!
  10. Looks like you’ve put that one on a King Cobra instead 🐍
  11. I’d much rather file the groove a bit than wedge something in the neck personally - each to their own though! You can always buy a spare saddle.
  12. Collection only but I’m not sure where I am at the moment, I’m in the boot of someone’s car
  13. I’ve also got one hanging from the underside of my desk so when I unplug my bass I can put my jack into the hole and it hangs in place. Tonight I’m having some for dinner - they just need shallow frying
  14. The bridge saddles are quite big barrels. On my Pre EB ray I have the G string as low as it can go which is just right but to go as low as my full time slapper I’d need to file the groove down a bit. That can be done easily with some abrasive cord. Because of my technique and lack of energy I have done this on most of my basses!
  15. Get back in here and sharpen those pencils
  16. I actually have one on my keyring. I will be suggesting alternative uses when they go on sale. Thanks @stewblack for the kind words.
  17. In the post!
  18. I have found the parcel post quite reliable of late but the regular mail service quite slow - Fred's birthday cards are still arriving... fingers crossed they come soon.
  19. I should have sent you some backwards ones! (Actually I think I already made that joke by email) Enjoy and thanks for the support!
  20. Hi Craig This isn't a car audio forum I'm afraid, although some of us play bass guitar whilst driving I don't think anyone will admit to it online. Cheers
  21. I think the Europe deliveries arrived first because the UK service is a bulk service via Whistl who quoted 3/5 days When they go on sale fully they’ll be UK only as international orders require a mission to the Post Office separately (the UK ones I can drop at the UPS depot near home)
  22. Just checked under the scratchplate (not that the white one has arrived yet - seller is being an arse and basically saying he’ll refund me if the tracking is updated to say ‘lost’ 😂 yeah nice try) - it’s a little more cream under the plate but bright white everywhere else, kind of opposite to what I expected.
  23. Thanks for ordering!
  24. Even if it was 100% original and untouched it would still be well overpriced
  25. Used 3 - 4 times... as a shovel? Rip off if you ask me!
