IME the main difference in sound isn’t the style or type of pickup but more where the pickup is located. I mean everything comes into play but that’s what makes it difficult to generalise and why we must all own lots of basses 🤔

No worries, I’ve never tried the multiamp but maybe other have used both. The SY1000 and VB99 type units have so many things you can adjust; even their model of their own pedals give many more options for playing with so I don’t doubt you’ll be able to dial in what you want! -
I’ve been using the V-bass (and now the VB99) for twenty years or so. With a GK bass or not they are superb multi fx/preamp/synth/audio interface units!

Hi folks This GR20 is in great condition (some marks from foam tape on the back) all functioning properly and great fun. I had it set up in a very specific way so you’ll probably want to reset it and start again. Included is the proper PSU and you can find the manual online (I’ll post a link here later). Postage will depend but probably about a tenner max next day. Cheers ped

Not really; as many who have submitted their email won’t end up buying as those who have and will buy more than one set. That’s the premise I’m working with anyway. Also there’s no way to track who wants what, that will sort itself out when people buy and choose quantities.

Thanks, inevitably some of the pre sale group won’t actually buy so there’s some slack built into the numbers; I’m planning for a worst case scenario just to be sure!

The original plan was just to assess whether there's a market for them - as long as 100 are up for the pre sale then I'll get them made. I think we have about 65 so far in almost exactly 24hrs (assuming everyone buys one set)
