    I did a Status/OLP 5 string mod and it totally transformed the bass. It sounded amazing (everything else was stock). Would have kept it if I was a five stringer. @obbm had a beautiful 5 string MM/Status which he might tell you about if you pay good money

    Nope they never did a full carbon five string. Confirmed. Shame, but who knows what the future holds!

    A great summary. I’ve heard rumours but I’ve never seen a five string series II bass in over twenty years of being a Vigier fan. I don’t think they made them.

    I like 70s jazz basses because of the different rear pickup placement which gives a unique sound especially for the odd popped note. I should have news on that front and be able to show you mine soon...

    I was messing about with my phone camera and was quite impressed with how close it can focus (with a combination of 2x optical zoom and some cropping). I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone post close up pics of flats before so thought it might be fun to compare them. Was it you @wateroftyne? Anyway here are some Labella 760fx Feel free to add yours! The closer the better.
