Photobucket sucks. Just upload them here directly or use imgbb 👍🏼

You could always try listing it here - threads like this are why we needed a specialised marketplace for bass guitars.

Various as new Pedals - Aguilar, Boss, TC Way Huge MXR, Mr Black

Funny how he’s got a signature pedal that has just come out - so he hasn’t used it for any recordings where he’s actually played bass and achieved his sound and yet we’re meant to believe this pedal will make us sound like him (who hasn’t used it either). Extreme chicken and egg situation - or, of course, marketing
-
There isn’t one I’m afraid - otherwise people post ‘how much is this worth, I’m selling it’ instead of placing an ad. Best bet is to check sold items on eBay. If you’re having real trouble, we can help if you raise a support request. Otherwise ask yourself what’s it worth to you? You can always start with a ballpark price and accept offers.

Yeah OK, let's do that Cheers ped

I think foam under the strings might still produce a bit of noise unless the foam is REALLY thick or solid. Worth a try though!

I can sort it for you - do you want it merged with this one?
-
I don't know if you can still buy these but you could try a Bassmute https://www.bassmute.eu/bm_mainframe.html You can make it mute everything but one string if you want. Bit expensive though.

I’m going back to my caravan (Burger King Wi-fi is rubbish anyway)
-
Actually the caravan is now round the side of Burger King taking up a grill space - I’m already eyeing up a nice little nook outside the empty Toys ‘R’ Us but any mail will still find me, I mean, out of all the caravans mine’s the only orange one!

Doubt I’ll brie impressed

I would like to ask for your help re: Video Reviews - Feedback please!
ped replied to Dood's topic in General Discussion
I don’t really do Facebook any more but I just want to say that your reviews are the best out there and you are such a fantastic player, an ambassador for the instrument and bass players everywhere. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Dood = Basschat royalty! 👸🏻- 16 replies

It's almost like he's never Basschatted

TBH I think they're trying to pay it a compliment but in a roundabout way that also leaves the door open for people to have reasons to buy a Jazz bass instead. I still agree that the bass can't do modern hi-fi slap sounds but it can definitely produce a sweet slap sound all of it's own. After that, I guess it comes down to the author's opinion of what 'full on', 'boomy' and 'grunt' mean. I've seen worse.
-
I agree to an extent - it certainly doesn’t do a super modern zingy slap sound, but that’s not to say it isn’t massively versatile.
-
IMO it’s rare to find a bass that’s perfect for recording AND live use. I’d nothing else it’s a good excuse to have two ‘number one’ basses in your stable.
-
Never tried an L2000 or any of the similar humbucker type models (I’m a bit unsure about the model numbers and types) but all I know is that after trying and having different P basses, nothing can touch this early SB1 - I don’t know how much they were new but like said above it’s fantastic build quality, the three bolt neck is great and the electronics and hardware really make it a sensible upgrade over the Fender Precision which is what I suppose it was intended to be. It’s basically the same but just a little more refined and it feels lovely. I do agree that the new headstock shame is a little jarring and I think it’s right that they are quite rare basses considering - even in the US they aren’t that common but sought out by those ‘in the know’, so there are some bargains for sure. The best type of bargain - because you’re not paying for hype!
-
Good ramble, well said and I agree with everything you put.
-
Freudian slip!! I never feel like selling up. Certainly not because of lack of gigs or band. I haven’t played in a gigging band for years but don’t miss that. I don’t often do studio playing but still do sometimes. In between my basses give me immense pleasure for playing along with music at home, looking after, setting up and generally fiddling with.
-
Probably best to ask them directly
-
I’ve never kept a bass which relied on the pre for its sound so if a batt dies I’m more than happy to switch to passive - in fact all my current actives sound the same in passive (with everything centred) so I’d only use the active EQ to adjust on-the-fly but could easily do without.
-
Quite - I'll push for more detail.

@PJ-Bassist here's the reply from Eurosender - it looks like a hard case is not required (but advised):

Here you go. The forum isn’t visible until you make at least one post; we did that to stop this one idiot from spamming people all the time (it worked!) Cheers
