  1. Looking forward to pics!!
  2. Very nice, I haven't ever tried an LB100, I'd be interested to compare.
  3. There's a Basschat discount code for New Moon insurance, too - you'll get one month free.
  4. Got the bass back yesterday from a tech in York who sorted the grounding issue - in fact it was more of a shielding problem. Three layers of conductive paint, foil backing on the 'plate, new grounding for the bridge and pots and it's whisper quiet now.
  5. I think it might be based on when the avatar was uploaded - haven't got an answer to that particular Q yet
  6. Well it looks like @bubinga5 is dead
  7. https://www.basschat.co.uk/announcement/26-advertising-whats-going-on-where-am-i/
  8. Did you read the announcement at the top of the site
  9. Got any sound clips of this bad Boy? Pre baked bean consumption is probably best
  10. They’re easier to sneak into the house, too
  11. P.S I don’t want to go on about it but you owe me a new face
  12. Great fun vid, love it. Not sounds I tend to strive for but superb none the less. BTW I embedded the video for you
  13. Amazing work, what a result, you must be chuffed to bits. Love a graphite neck <3
  14. Some of these comments would be better kept Preevyet
  15. As promised - please find enclosed a little tune especially for you Cameron! Hah Should probably add that I was making this up as I went along and that it's got loads of mistakes etc but once I get going I keep adding layers, I just can't help myself Bass is full vol, tone at 75% Second track is bass with pick and auto wah Third is bass at full tone with Muff Fuzz and shitloads of bayzzz
  16. Yes thanks Gareth I'll measure my knob this evening
  17. Don't know to be honest - there doesn't seem to be any consensus but it appears neck profiles changed as have the hardware components - I think the earlier models with the crackle finished anodised parts look the best personally... there's a thread on TB about the changes during which years but its's not very clear. I think the main differences are things like no longer tilt neck, plastic pick guard, different headstock, rosewood fingerboards... not an expert but we all know Leo liked to change things now and then. There certainly doesn't;t seem to be a 'pre CBS' equivalent cut off point or anything like that, though.
  18. Here she is with her sister. It just occurred to me that I'm basically Freddie Washington now (he plays a Smith and P bass). Need a new passport soon anyway so it'll basically be easier.
  19. I think uploading a new one is easier than us trying to get any sense out of them!
  20. If you never hear from me again, you know what's happened
  21. This is what it's all about. What a fantastic looking bash. Tremendous effort organising it and well done to all those who went along to make it a huge success. I'm glad everyone is coming round to the idea of mini scale basses They're the sort of thing you don't think you'll need but once you have you'll use all the time. So handy to have around the house!
  22. I've got a bass case arriving today. Wife is going to her parents this afternoon for the night. Will it arrive whilst she's at home? She'll think there's a bass in it, of course. Part of me hopes it does arrive today but I'd prefer it to arrive whilst she's out so I can collect it from the Post Office at my convenience. Will keep you posted. Living on the edge.
