  1. Yeah he doesn’t ever reply. Don’t know why he gives an email address....
  2. I recently was given a Vovox cable and although sceptical at first (its about £100!) I noticed a clear difference using it. I think they have a lifetime warranty too. But yeah if you’re paying I expect OBBMs cables to be the best VFM
  3. I’m thinking about a Teenage Engineering OP-Z
  4. I tend to use YouTube, type in the BPM and 'drum groove' there are loads.
  5. If I was dealing with an online retailer I’d obviously agree that in stock and the delivery date mean it’s not going to be with me any time soon. However as they have a physical shop I thought I could pick up an item that’s ‘in stock’ instead of having it delivered. Wrong. It’s not in stock at the shop. To me, that means they need to clarify what they mean. Good examole is Argos. If an item is in stock it says so, otherwise it says which store it’s at or whether it’s just online. If it’s not in stock and requires ordering from their supplier it says not in stock because as far as the buyer is concerned, it isn’t.
  6. Just like an Uber driver having to buy a Prius 😂
  7. I always sell any P or J bass for two reasons. One, the bolt on beck joint just feels and looks a bit agricultural. Two, the scratch plate makes the bass feel a bit plasticy. So yeah. Cheers
  8. Just because a producer is narrow minded and would rather I use a P bass so they can go and smoke a joint doesn’t mean I’m going to pander to them!!
  9. Gear4music only have one shop but it’s like an afterthought and they expect you to buy everything online! Anyway I’m done with them. Sod ‘em.
  10. I was going to phone but then I noticed that some items say ‘available to order’ so thought that ‘in stock’ meant that it didn’t need ordering and was in fact in stock. So I wonder what ‘available to order’ means...
  11. When there’s a physical shop I think saying the item is in stock is misleading. It should say ‘available to order’ - which it does say on lots of items. In stock is basically meaningless!
  12. Yeah it is. Sweden. It’s all in the first post?!
  13. That’s because they aren’t
  14. @fiatcoupe432 typical eh?!
  15. Gear4Music - this is the last straw. After applying for a job with them (I called to check the closing date, there wasn’t one written in the site) nobody knew or cold tell me, so I applied and weeks later was told the job was closed. It’s still on their site. Anyway, I know lots of others have had similar experiences with them... I went to buy a guitar stand today, it says ‘2 In Stock’ - they are, but helpfully that’s in stock in Sweden. Not their UK shop. Which is their main shop. It doesn’t even mention a shop in Sweden. There’s no way to check a ‘branch’. As much as I’d like to support a bricks and mortar shop they make it painfully difficult.
  16. That looks cool... when’s the baby due?
  17. This, really... I don’t play them myself but love the sound on loads of albums. Nuff said!
  18. Never think there’s any point in talking about who used what strings, I always think they are more to give the player a certain feel as opposed to a certain sound.
