  1. @Dood does the best demo vids
  2. Got it from Absolute Music, forgot it was actually £19.99! Shop were great, basically next day delivery I think https://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/ibanez-bws90-bass-workshop-guitar-strap.html
  3. Bacchus are excellent. Are you sure the pull pot isn’t a series/parallel switch?
  4. I’ve tried lots of straps now and each has had something which spoilt it. I took a punt on this Ibanez strap I saw for £30 and I’m pretty chuffed. My bass isn’t heavy but I do like the feel of wider straps. This one is really grippy and looks to be well made. One thing I like is that the strap itself is really thin. I’ve tried Mono straps before and they’re too thick for me. Anyway just putting it out there as a potential for those of you looking for an alternative to leather or the usual Mono or Comfort strap options. Excuse poor pics but it’s called an Ibanez BWS90 they do a more Mono style thick version too. Cheers
  5. @The59Sound do you need to take a break?! How about it, or do you think you can behave like a grown up for a bit? Calm down.
  6. Thanks, that looks neat and the rack format would work well in my office. Will check it out.
  7. This looks good! https://www.steinigke.de/en/mpn10355025-omnitronic-lh-025-3-channel-stereo-mixer.html
  8. Thanks, yeah that looks good but as you say I don't need an audio interface. I'm not sure if those inputs are stereo, either... Another random question but assuming the device I want has a single stereo 1/4" input (as opposed to two single L+R 1/4") can I just use a simple adapter to combine both into a single stereo plug? I'm 99% sure I've done this before. Think I might try that cheapo thing in my third post and see how it is. It's nice that it uses batteries as there's likely to be less hum and it's not going to be used loads so I don't want to spend much ideally.
  9. Nice where did you get the gold truss rod cover
  10. Get yourself over to our sister site guitarchat.co.uk
  11. At the other end of the scale... this would be bang on but sounds a bit crap build quality... https://www.amazon.co.uk/SoundLab-Channel-Stereo-Microphone-Mixer/dp/B0048FBBS8/ref=pd_sbs_267_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0048FBBS8&pd_rd_r=ba90aa25-f4b9-11e8-bf03-fd1a6263a13f&pd_rd_w=Sa12m&pd_rd_wg=mwE3n&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=18edf98b-139a-41ee-bb40-d725dd59d1d3&pf_rd_r=AR14V1MND3MK3N4RFP1K&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=AR14V1MND3MK3N4RFP1K
  12. This would work but a bit speedy, and I don't need that many inputs or recording functionality, really https://zoom-na.com/products/production-recording/live-sound-recording/zoom-livetrak-l-12
  13. Hi folks I need an all in one unit that will take (at a minimum) two outputs from a digital drum kit (L+R) and from my bass (L+R) and send to two headphone outputs. In the past we've used a mini mixer to take all the inputs then used a headphone splitter thing to multiply the headphone connections but it was always a bit faffy and noisy. We don't need any cab sim, individual mix or effects on the unit (like the jamhub and Roland unit) because we do all that at source, so it just needs to be as simple as my first line says. Impossible to find? Cheers ped P.S if you want to get really into the details, we're connecting a VB99 and a TD12 so we can both hear each other and jam.
  14. Ah yeah I’m not sure who played on this track but it’s great, the production in general sounds excellent to me
  15. Two of my faves. David Barard with Dr. John, playing a Sadowsky low and loose Freddie Washington playing a Smith for Donald Fagen. Always loved the Smith sound, this is a good example Interested to hear other people's faves...
  16. I can vouch for the fact that it absolutely does. I even put one on an OLP five string and it was incredible!
  17. Sorry to hear that, must be a horrible feeling. Let me know the details of the watches too, I may be able to help with that. Will your home insurance cover the (financial) loss?

    Hello..

    Cool username! Welcome
  19. Good luck finding a lightweight one! I had this Elan for a few years, weighed a ton but sounded very nice.
  20. Thanks! I always put finger puppets in my basses, can’t remember why I started doing it but always do now! The controls on the Vigier - marleaux 3 band pre (vol, balance, bass, mid, treb), then there’s some controls for the Roland GK system (assignable control, up/down buttons). And there’s an active passive switch. The wingbass has the same GK system installed and only has less knobs because it’s passive
  21. Thanks for that. @charic anything we can do this end?
  22. I actually find that anti virus progs on Macs cause more problems than they solve. There's definitely something causing it - let us know if it happens again and on what site.
  23. D'oh! Never update flash from anything other than Adobe.. it might mean you have a trojan on your computer that has infected your browser and points you towards malicious sites. Are you using Safari? Give your computer a scan with Malwarebytes and see if it finds anything.
