  1. Hm how about a Roland Micro Bass Cube RX. Tiny, loud enough, and lasts ages in battery power too. Lots of music shops sell them so you can probably try one.
  2. Sounds cool, looking forward to seeing it take shape!
  3. Yep he cut them in half to remove them, too!
  4. I think they cancelled this amp, might be wrong though.
  5. Ok that might have done the trick... also I’ve set it so you can add a poll to an existing topic, so you can add it when the submissions are in next time (I think, will test tomorrow) Cheers ped
  6. Ok I’ll have a look and see if I can change the limit
  7. An ok it must be enabled for mods only at the moment. @charic can we turn it on? I couldn’t see the setting anywhere
  8. Lakota Leathers are the best IMO. The leather is super soft. Can be had via eBay for about £40 but they’ll last you a lifetime
  9. You've got ear defenders on in your avatar so you can't hear yourself. Very wise 😜
  10. They can be had used for about £600 now I think. Yes you’d expect it to be more flexible but then it replaces everything you’ve got so in actual fact it represents good value when you look at it that way (at least that’s how I justified it to myself!) Still want a FI though because you can never have too many toys to play with!
  11. Should be a bump button at the top?
  12. This is the kind of thing I love programming on the VB99. Although the FI is amazing, I don’t think it matches the VB99 in terms of overall flexibility. Unfortunately they aren’t easy to get and you don’t have to take a leap of faith to get one and then invest a lot of time playing with it. I’ve had mine for years now but I’m still working out new things with it. I love it to bits!
  13. Excellent result, well done Eddie. Did you like the gig bag 😂 Perhaps it’s worth me making a sticky about what to do if you have a bass nicked...
  14. Thanks very much 😎 glad you like it. Good luck selling these nice pedals
  15. Maybe that’s what I want you to think. One day you’ll be lazing in bed on a Sunday morning only to catch something with your big toe, only to find you’ve kicked a synth stick and triggered a tsunami of octave filter mulch that’ll give you diarrhoea
  16. If I had my way everyone would be getting a 17” scale synth stick
  17. Yeah. I did try using two nuts for a while which helped IIRC
  18. Aye but loads of people seem to have the problem - Schaller themselves too, apparently. FWIW I always cut away the strap hole area to fit but they still worked loose. I specifically remember tightening it so much that I asked my housemates at the time to see if they could tighten it any more. It came loose within a month.
  19. It appears that many of you have ‘hacks’ that make them secure - now Schiller have released their own hack. IMO if they were designed well in the first place they wouldn’t need loctite, special straps, washers, etc. I remember nearly every bass having them when I started playing but I think better alternatives exist now. Its like having a slow puncture. Yeah you can pump it up once a week and it’s ok, or get it fixed. One could suddenly fail and leave you in a mess, the other doesn’t.
  20. I was getting some funny looks at the time... the horse didn’t seem to mind
  21. This comes up quite a bit but the general consensus seem to be yes - if you are committed to putting the time and effort into making the best use of it. @devinebass is on here so maybe he can answer any specific questions but I’d say go for it, it sounds like it might be the boost you need to get back in the horse. Cheers

If you bought it on eBay you can get your money back very easily.
  23. Great, thanks! I'm going to consider one myself so will message him.
  24. Looks great. How have you attached it? How did you measure the curve for him to copy?
