  1. That looks cool... when’s the baby due?
  2. In your opinion
  3. This, really... I don’t play them myself but love the sound on loads of albums. Nuff said!
  4. Never think there’s any point in talking about who used what strings, I always think they are more to give the player a certain feel as opposed to a certain sound.
  5. Ok all sorted
  6. He’s taking libraties
  7. I had a shell pink 1957 RI P bass that seemed really high tension no matter what strings I used on it. That was weird.
  8. I made it until about 4pm when I heard this and had to whip out my bass
  9. Just a bit of fun if you ask me. Better than what’s on tv!
  10. @Sibob @CameronJ my octaver buddies
  11. It's OK - not very interested in J or P basses really I was hoping for some more variety - plenty of old (60s) basses but not much 80's and 90's stuff. Edit to add I saw the digital book, I bet the physical book is a pretty nice object all the same.
  12. I'd be up for that lol
  13. Wow mega cheap!
  14. Come on @AndyTravis it's your duty
  15. Looks like it was moved to the wanted forum from somewhere else.
  16. Yeah my hard cases are in the garage but the triple case I have is really narrow, much less than three cases and considerably less so than one of those ‘racks’ you can get. Works quite well. But yeah if you’ve got no floor space then the walls are next. When the walls are full you’ve got the ceiling!
  17. Pics are in a format that won’t open directly - try renaming them or let me know if you need a hand 🖐

    Good morning

Welcome, hope you find the help you need here. If you’ve got the groove, 10 mins is all you need Cheers
  20. I must admit they look cool hanging. However for some reason I don’t like doing it. I keep mine in a triple ‘Scott Dixon’ road case which lives at the far end of my desk. When closed it protects them from temperature fluctuations and dust.
  21. Not a problem if you wear a bin bag
  22. Cool. I’m really tempted, I’m so used to my Bassboard at home, I definitely think ‘feeling’ the bass gives you a really ‘3D’ experience!

  24. Agree with the last bit (although I have no GAS for a Jazz, had so many and always end up selling them)
  25. Repulsive
