  1. Good condition, barely used. Nice feel to the switches. Cheers ped
  2. Reduced to £50 posted for a BC member Clone of a DOD FX25 pedal made by @paul_5 Paul modified it to run on battery power for me but I'm sure it can be changed back to run on a power supply if required. I'm pretty sure I paid £60 (correct me of I'm wrong Paul!) so passing it on at the same price. I'm in York if you'd like to come and try/collect it. Cheers ped
  3. Excellent new condition. £120 posted. Based in York if you'd like to collect and save a tenner. Comes with ONE very short 13 pin cable for patching. May be able to find another, watch this space! https://www.roland.com/us/products/us-20/ Cheers ped
  4. My mum says I'm the best bass player in teh werld
  5. My mate Alphonso Johnson has the dots installed in the normal fretted place. It’s just his preference. Maybe this was a custom order.
  6. Man needs a loknob http://loknob.com
  7. With my mini bass I actually use a long EBS gold flat cable as a signal cable into my travel unit (zoom B1on) because it fits into the pocket of he bag nicely. Ive noticed it will pick up more noise near a tv but I’m talking within a meter so nothing to worry about.
  8. Thanks. It’s the same guy and he always uses ‘gear’ as part of his username. I’m hoping @charic can do something to silence him forever!
  9. Already restricted, thanks. We’ve previously banned him but this time we’re going to make his posts and PMs visible to him only so he’ll have no idea. Theres a warning at the top of the wanted forum Cheers
  10. Hi kieran i think it’ll simplify things if the bass is shipped as a purchased item, in other words decalared at full value with the relevant forms. You’ll have to pay duty and handling but it’ll be a small price to pay. Undervaluing the item will likely lead to it being ‘inspected’ and delayed, gift or not.
  11. Zoom B1on. Portable (tiny, light), battery powered and lasts ages and sounds great.
  12. They look good but I’d miss the tone print function because you can have a brilliant compressor on board with that
  13. I normally like them in isolation and some even sound good live, however I always find the mostly slab shaped body and often present plastic pickguard and big bulky neck joints make the overall aesthetics of the things feel a bit poor. Especially for the prices they can often command.
  14. I like (in order of best to worst) AN (sounds nice and buttery) Y (a little more hollow sounding) VM (has that hollow sound that I dislike about P basses)
  15. Hated the old ones. Rattly and the nut comes loose after about ten mins no matter how tight you screw it on. Always thought the design was a bit clunky.
  16. Looks nice. So the case has broken latches? Is the neck Rosewood or Ebony? What’s the neck like, nice and straight? Truss rod working OK? Any sounds you can share?
  17. I use Elixirs now and that last about a year but before I switched I used to use ‘Fast Fret’ which worked well.
  18. Look nice - does it have an 'upright' sort of tone, like the one on the website - or a more modern sound from the pickup?
  19. There's a button in the top right. Only to be used in cases where we can actually do something (abusive language, wrong forum, etc) On mobile it's a little flag icon.
  20. Always buy from an official retailer or from amazon themselves (not a seller ON amazon) Quality is worth paying for. These strings last me at least a year a set so even a £50 pack saves me tons a year.
  21. Yes, someone just made a mistake
