    Vigier Porn!

Excellent - I'm tempted to bring one of my old Arpege basses to the show after I missed the chance of showing it to Patrice himself a few years ago. I showed him a picture of it and he said 'Thank you for looking after it' which I thought was pretty legendary.

    Vigier Porn!

Why bother with bedding when you can be playing that sweet bass!! I'll definitely come and have a go. Looks great. I agree that the necks on these feel amazing. My friend bought a Vigier Excalibur guitar based on the neck of one of these, and the neck on the guitar is so nice even I can play it.
  3. I only play mine in an anti gravity vacuum (which has the added bonus of nobody being able to hear me)
  4. Love it. I was subjected to 50 Shades the other week and I haven’t been quite the same since.
  5. I think you can put them in the oven, but even then they'll essentially absorb moisture right away and become useless again within a day or so. Normally they're in packets of items that are sealed airtight at the factory and so they can be of use to absorb any condensation as the parcel moves inside and out.
  6. I used to hang mine, too - but for some reason I still don't like doing it.
  7. Those silica packets aren't much good after they've been exposed, either - unless you heat them to 300 every few days to reset them.
  8. To make it work we have to customise the default software which is no easy task. However we have recently started a mirrored forum which were using to test such mods before rolling them out in the live site. We’ve just installed the marketplace section and tested it so the mods will start soon, and as soon as we can confirm it works, it’ll be live here.
  9. I use Dunlop 65 on my poly finished basses, and WD40 on the fingerboards when I change strings (graphite necks) which makes them come up all nice and shiny. My other bass has a natural Tung Oil finish and apparently a wipe with a damp cloth is all that's needed, though I'm open to any suggestions as to a 'one shot' product I can use.
  10. Hi there. Old subs in the old software I can manually look up and find when you paid. In the new site you can see how long you have left when you list an item (it says the expiry above the ‘price’ field, which is nice. I’ll find your old sub expiry now and PM you the details. Cheers

  12. Plectrum!!! Yeuchhhhh!!! I'm just jealous! Thanks for sharing, cool kid.
  13. Hi Greg I too like low tension and 40-95s and find Elixirs have the best feel, plus super long life.
  14. So you can’t use headphones out of an MS60B?
  15. Some of these look lovely. I really like this one Some of the links didn’t work... would like to see more!
  16. Keep the volume down, you'll rattle your fillings out!
  17. Well surely it's an improvement on you waking around with a 'Pocket Rockit'
  18. Personally I'm not 100% convinced that hanging a bass by the neck is very good for it.
  19. OK the cloth arrived - turns out it's completely black rather than the 'salt 'n' pepper' style as per the listing. (although looking at the photo of my amp it kind of depends on the lighting) For now I've covered the grille of the amp, which works fine as the curved ends of the grille actually do a great job of grabbing the cloth and holding it. I'll still make a wooden frame though next week. Here's a quick snap. Really pleased with how it looks now, nice and clean! I might get a folding handle for the top, like a flight case style sprung handle. Any ideas what I can call it, there's room for a logo on the top front edge (with a label gun!!)
