  1. Glad to hear these positive reports. It's an amp I've been considering for a long time. Black or silver? hmmm
  2. I don't know why but I've never been a fan of those knurled metal knobs.
  3. That's a good point. I have a little hifi with two separate speakers in my office which is Bluetooth, though I normally use aux. Fairly cheap from Currys.
  4. Yes they have a slightly rubberised feel, although they don't perish like some types I've used. They are collet fixing which I also like; sometimes the little grub screw holes on normal fitting knobs annoy me On my wingless (mini bass in avatar) I couldn't use normal knobs as they were too close together so I picked these https://www.rapidonline.com/cliff-fc7230-kmr15-matt-black-alu-clad-knob-with-marker-dot-18t-6mm-splines-32-1850 nice aluminium feel. I love knobs.
  5. These, though, I have to say are my favourite knob https://www.canford.co.uk/Products/21549/58-904_SIFAM-S211-006-COLLET-KNOB-21.5mm-diameter-6mm-shaft-black
  6. Good stuff. I kitted one of my basses out with them and it cost me a fortune, there are 6 knobs!
  7. Ah yes sorry I didn't notice that - I'm sure you can find it elsewhere for a similar price, or maybe find one on eBay or keep an eye on Gear4Music, maybe they'll get more in stock.
  8. The little Roland JC01 is great https://www.gear4music.com/Home-Audio/Roland-JC-01-Bluetooth-Audio-Speaker/1GGF Compared to my dad's Anker soundcore it's both louder and better quality. The EQ is a bit dodgy though, it doesn't work as you'd expect but you can dial in a good sound once you have a play with it.
  9. The OP can bump a thread, nobody else - unless someone else comments, like you just did, which bumps it again. I don't think anyone will read anything into you being the last person to comment at all, you just posted a helpful comment... no problem as far as I can see??

    Blasius Basses

I tried some at the LBGS. I really liked the one I played, it was a really thin bodied Jazz bass. The guys seemed cool, too. Yours looks lovely, enjoy.
  11. I think it’s because it’s missing the word ‘in’ OK enough legal chat (unless we have a lawyer onboard) - leave it with me. Thanks.
  12. I’m pretty sure they sell or sold the actual Sadowsky style ones, also used by Pedulla and others. I definitely got some from there, and some also from Digi-Key in the US that came within 24hrs, which I couldn’t believe!
  13. I get my knobs here https://www.rapidonline.com/cliff-fc7225b-km20b-black-aluminium-clad-plastic-knob-marker-line-6mm-spine-32-1836 Plenty of styles available and many have small sized versions to match.
  14. Thanks chaps I’ll try them in the new year. In the meantime, you ain’t seen me, rite
  15. As far as I know, unless it’s official sheet music being shared, enthusiast made resources are fine. Any idea who I could ask otherwise?
  16. Lovely! And well done for getting a rescue. I'm sure rescue dogs grin like that on the inside
  17. I'm talking to ikay at the moment about potentially hosting these as a page on BC, indexed and with a 'requests' area. Should be useful!!
  18. Great... there's nothing more annoying, and once you hear it you can't ignore it. Top work!

    Hello

Welcome to basschat, from another Vigier player!
  20. Thanks for the post. I’ve deleted the duplicate you posted as the attachment didn’t work anyway. Cheers
  21. OK good, moving on. Like the finish on the ACG - really unusual. Congrats to Alan
  22. There are some email problems at the moment - for now if you check your spam and whitelist the email it should fix but we're working on a fix our end..
  23. https://the-snow-owl.com/ He was demoing on a stand last year. Bit of a legend actually.
