That's one of the reasons I wanted one - I also saw them or something similar at the show. This was a bargain, £160 or thereabouts. http://www.scottdixoninc.com Are the most similar ones I've seen and remember them being very expensive.

I was rather dissatisfied with my multi guitar stand which had very thin foam and was a bit wonky. I spotted this on eBay and, whilst overkill for transportation of my basses, it works as a really great guitar stand, with a much smaller footprint than the 'rack' I had before. It has wheels and is actually very light when empty. Made by Fender, I believe. There's a code lock on the top which is set to '0,0,0' at the moment - I don't know what the number is, or if there's any way to tell by looking at the inside of the lock when it's open? I'll message the seller to see if he knows what it is. Possibly better for me to not know, because I can see myself getting my basses locked in. Anyway having just received a brilliant Fusion Urban double gig bag I can safely say I now have every angle covered in terms of caseage Cheers ped

Fusion Urban Series - Double Electric Bass Gig Bag Review
ped replied to ped's topic in Accessories and Misc
Just seen this review after buying the Mono M80 Dual Bass case. Got it off evil bay £175 used, which I thought was a good price, although it's not arrived yet. This Fusion one looks great too, would be good to have a head to head review, they both seem to present pro's and cons, as with most things of course. Great review by the way, The GroovyPlucker
Yes it would be good to put them side by side. As you say it's probably down to personal taste as both are top quality products. I've gone a bit case/bag crazy recently, having just bought a neat rolling case for theee basses which will double as a guitar rack for my office. -
Oh, and the dog is the best pat of the pics!
Thanks that's my little Sybil. She really likes the bag. It would make a really cool dog bed (she says) -
I should contact them again. It's unlikely you'll speak to the same person so I'd start afresh and be clear about what happened and tell them you're sending it back.

Great, thanks! I have a bit of a collection on Youtube too but the more the merrier. I noticed the first few 'Funk' tracks weren't found, I don't know if it affects them all but all the other categories seemed to work OK. Cheers ped

I used to have a Zoom MRS4 which was amazing. Weighed nothing at all and was easy to use. Because at the time I was at University, my brother was too but on the other side of the country and our guitarist was down in Oxford, we posted the recorder between us. I'd record a bass line with a click, post it to Tim who would put drums down then send it to Dan who did guitar, then sometimes I'd re-do my bass bit and send it on again etc. I believe it even fit through the letterbox
What is the poweramp ?
I'm not sure, there's no name on it... just 'D800 Digital Power Amplifier 2x400W' Can't remember where I got it but have had it for years, seems fine. The fan is a bit noisy when it kicks in but I'm wearing headphones anyway with the PB so can't hear it.
Is that a bit of Burman gear sitting on top of the Ashdown?
Ah yes that's a Burman Pre, belongs to Kiwi though!
That's really no way treat a Nigerian Prince.
Well to be honest I banned him so I can have the investment opportunity (he's building a dam and needs my help) all to myself. See you on the flipside, losers!

Thanks - turns out he's sent the same message to 7 people. Now marked as a scammer and banned.

Please report any of these and we'll stamp on them. Hard. Use the 'Report' button in the PM, next to the quote button. Cheers ped

I've just taken delivery of one of these from a fellow Basschatter. What a great piece of kit!! It took me a while to get sorted ( replaced my office chair as the board made it too high) and moved round a few things in the office to make room. Luckily I have a 1U digital power amp which I used to use for my 'loud' rig (SWR 4x8 and 1x15). It's 400W a side and powers the PB perfectly. Now it is also employed as a second monitor stand. Hooked up to my practice rig (see below) it feels like I'm playing in a stadium!! When I play along with backing tracks or music I can decide to send that through the Pleasure Board (henceforth referred to as the PB). It's nice to feel the bass drum sometimes or I can just isolate the bass. I always play with headphones at home and I know my Bose cans really well - they faithfully reproduce my bass and don't colour it (as far as I can hear, anyway). Having the PB under my chair gives everything so much... heft! If I take my cans off, I can hear the PB vibrating and reproducing my bass sound but only very quietly, like a very quiet amplifier. Thankfully nothing in my office vibrates and shakes along with it like it does when I use my bass amp under my desk. Using the VB99 I can independently control the levels of everything and really feel like I'm completely lost in the groove. Very happy with it... I'll bring to a bash ASAP, it really has to be tried. One of my octave synth patches almost turns me inside out, now. ped

I'd like to know, too. Specifically, how to filter out items I've already seen that have been re-listed. I collect a series of rare books and have a search set up to find newly listed items. No emails, I check it most days. 99.9% of the time the books it announces as new are ones that have been re-listed hundreds of times in the years I've been collecting. Is there a way to ignore relished items? Not that I can find...

Here she is. Weighed a ton but felt fab. Quite a dark sounding bass which would have benefitted from a more involved pre-amp, I think. It had the triangle headstock (3+3) but I prefer the type you have on your Europa. Good lord alive. I love the Europa. Always wanted one. The closest I got was a 6 string Elan which is a similar shape as you know. I'll post a pic if I can find one. I've always liked the series shape basses but haven't really played one. I've had a noodle on Kiwi's graphite one which felt lovely but it was ages ago. One day I'll steal it from him.

No problem, I'm in York if you're ever passing by! Good luck, will watch with interest. Can't wait to try the board...

I think it's a fairly oft used expression, no more or less on Basschat than anywhere else. I don't know if the first bit of the post is to do with us or not, though. Weird. -
It was me who bought the Pleasure Board - once it's here and I've had a play, feel free to have a look at it and take it apart if it helps you (presuming you can put it back together!)

My first decent amp was a Laney HCM60B. Sounded great and the compressor was fairly decent.

Fusion Urban Series - Double Electric Bass Gig Bag Review

Just to say that in the New Year Fusion will be replenishing stockists so you should be able to try one somewhere near you, or buy directly from them. Did I say it came with a keyring, too
