Interesting thanks for that. I only asked because I find the names quite memorable and evocative like you say in contrast to model numbers. I especially like 'Salace' and also the shape of that particular bass.

I don't know if it's been asked already, but where do the names for the different shapes come from? Is there a theme?

We've had no phone line for about a month. BT have been useless. Luckily internet is fibre so it's ok although slower than normal. EVENTUALLY when it's fixed I'll be claiming some money back as I work from home. Funny thing is they keep asking if they can ring. Errm. No phone. No mobile reception at home. I can't see this getting sorted any time soon.

[/quote] Easy - perhaps it's because the headstock is raked back a little bit but I can just lean the bass forward a bit and see it clearly - oh and as a teacher I have eyes in the back of my head, too ;p TBH the bass rarely needs tuning but it's good to know it's there.

I use a TC Polytune clip from which I removed the clip and attached to the back of my headstock. Works a treat!
