1. Only if they offer a BC discount. I'll have a tidy up and hopefully clear up any questions this week.
 2.
I rarely, if ever, go there, so I dont think that suggestion serves me. Whats wrong with a trader wanting to shift something quickly at a bargainprice ? You can always ignore it if youre not looking.
Start looking there! That's what the section is for, perhaps it needs cleaning up and making clearer. That's something I have been meaning to do for a while!
..how will we know if we passed or failed??
Some of you may find logging in difficult tomorrow
 4. Probably the best sounding cabs I have ever used!! Buy with confidence!
 5. Series 3 basses have a 'textbook' amount of relief built into the neck which I too found a little bit too much for me. The bridge (assuming it's a Kahler) doesn't allow for a super low action unless you remove the saddles and file them down a bit. Even then, the relief meant the strings feel a little high for me. Bear in mind my main bass is a series 2 which is totally flat, with a super low action (I'm lazy). Friends all preferred my series 3 but I've never been into the higher feel. The only option would be to have the neck planed by a pro to make it flat. Vigier will be able to help, I recommend emailing Patrice who is very helpful. A good way to see how flat the neck is is to hold the G string at the first or second fret with your index finger and then, with your elbow, fret the same string at one of the last frets. You can then see how far the string is from the fingerboard at around the 7th fret. My series 2 is literally a hair's distance away wheras my series 3 was probably about 2mm. I assume Vigier built this in to cater for the majority who like a little relief Cheers
 6. Just to echo what Kiwi says, we're finding a developer who can work with us on a few key areas including the blog before we can go live with it. Safetiez
 7.
I also think it makes BC a safer place. Good work all.
But not London!
 8. Looks like a great meet. Every time members have meets like this I always say how it helps make the forum such a nice place. Well done for organising and I'll hopefully be able to make the next one. Cheers ped
 9. Thanks for the update, see if you can take some pics. Chuffed you won and are living the dream Cheers
 10. No problem at all, shame I'm going to a wedding this weekend as I would have gone with you!
 11.
TONK! I've Won! Thank you very much Basschat
Great!! Well done, we expect a full report on your return!!! ped
 12.
Well if you listen to LBC of course you are going to hear sh*te like that.
Yeah, I know it's not EVERYONE but most people portray everyone in the UK as barely able to survive. Anyway, never mind.
 13.
Mmm, I don't really see it that way, I'm only stating my opinion mate, strongly phrased though it is I suppose. It wasn't some sort of attack on BC which is why I presume you picked out that line, it's really just that I find the role of the bass is often elevated to supernovae-like proportions on BC quite often. It's the music that's important, so when someone says 'still room for more bass' like the bass is the most important part of the band, to the exclusion of all the other instruments and vocal AND SPACE for which there is theoretically also 'more room', I feel the need to help the poor soul
It wasn't especially because you mentioned BC but just because I find comments that blanket whole groups of people, 'This country, we are a nation of, etc' actually are part of the problem! I think we talk ourselves into thinking we're a moaning, skint bunch of sods! I was listening to an interesting thing on LBC the other day and it made me think - if you go into Reading shopping centre at the weekend, look at the cars people are driving, look at how much people are buying and how full Nandos is, nobody seems THAT skint! Sorry, going slightly off topic and not directed at you personally Nige. Just made me remember that point.
 14.
With respect, this is the sort of attitude BC is full of, and it's one I can't stand.
Come on Nige, you're coming across as a bit 'judge, jury and executioner' of late!! 'This country' etc... there's room for everyone's opinion and nothing is more subjective than music.
 15. I love her new album and think it grooves hard but found it a bit more difficult to listen to on the TV because some of the arrangements felt a bit rushed. 'Radio Song' was a fair bit faster than the album version which ruined it's feel, for me. She's pretty cool though. Drummer is very cool too.
 16. That's just a bit of harmless moonlighting Actually my http://Lasagnereview.tumblr.com T shirt arrived today (shameless plug)
 17. As long as the buyer is careful you'll be OK. Lots of members find us because they are looking for somewhere to sell gear. As others have said, having posted a few times on the forum is no gaurantee as to the seller's credentials. All deals should be entered into with the same level of dilligence and I would recommend everyone to read the marketplace guidelines before buying ANYTHING from ANYONE on ANY forum, weather they are 10,000 posts in or 10. Cheers ped
 18.
So lets get this right, can't reply to a thread but can converse with ped. Hmm...
Actually Nick asked me to do that around the same time he last posted here but I just forgot about it until now!! Cheers
 19. Alright chaps, Nick has asked that I remove the separate iBass magazine forum subsection so the threads will be distributed into the parent forum just in case you're wondering where they are. This thread will still be there and your subscriptions tot he thread(s) will still work. This is also because normally sponsors pay for these separate forums and as iBass haven't renewed at the moment it's only fair to remove it anyway. Cheers ped
 20.
I'd love to be able to make this! I'm in the UK in June, hope they have more shows then. Going to be some serious low end and crunchy jangly guitar. Any idea who's on drums?
I'll see if I can find out. Good question!
