Cheers - I'm in pretty constant contact with the supplier and whilst it has it's advantages, it's a bit worrying not being able to actually post them myself in some ways. The guy I'm using is very trustworthy and now we have some stock built up it will be pretty slick. Because I chose to make P&P free, it's going second class post. I'm going to look into the OPTION of selecting first or express class delivery if you wanted, but will need a bit of time to set that up and organise it. Just to confirm they were indeed posted on Thursday (have proof of postage) but sent second class, so it SHOULD have been today but maybe tomorrow, then... I'm going to see if I can bump it up to first class from now on, but then again, postage is free. Let me know when it arrives - or even post a pic! Cheers ped

I haven't ever used email notifications but I understand lot sof people like them - especially for PMs. I always have Basschat open so I quite like just having the pop up but we're looking at the issue, it's now time to wait for Invasion to get back to us with a fix. Cheers

Not sure but hopefully Ben is on it, I presume it's an iphone issue and the reason we'll have a mobile interfece too. I recall another camera forum I use having a text lag issue which was fixed... I'll see if I can dig it up as an example to help us too. ped

I've just heard from the supplier and everyone who has paid so far will have their shirts by Weds morning. They will invoice me later for the first bunch which will all be put into stock and we may then be able to beat the 48hr dispatch time. The first batch always takes longest because they need to find out which are most popular for stockling and the first run needs to be a certain size to allow the invoice to pay for the subsiquent stock, etc. Hope that's no longer than you guys were expecting and I hope you wear your shirts with pride. As always the shop is always open for further orders which will now be dispatched (I am promised) on the 48hr target. For international orders - just go ahead and buy and I'll soak up the shipping regardless of distance (can't garantee the postage time though!) Cheers ped

I don't tknow how easy it is to have a mesage at the top like that - probably easiest just to wait it out, I hope it won't be too long...

Also I think they are good for search engines too. To be honest I don't think forum threads take up much room at all so it's cool. Always good if the user amends the title to 'SOLD' though. Cheers

We're still converting posts which is locking things up so please try to be patient as it's just something we have to get done. We'll get round to doing the mobile interface also soon but again please be patient. If you feel the need to post that the forum is too slow after this message please just log out and give it a few days or something because it's just going to take a little time now. The server is all paid for and has lots of capacity to make the site super fast but we can't do anything at the moment.

I have reported to Ben. It's probably that the server is still copying data over causing it to go slow now and then, and sometimes things go wrong causing things to bunch up. There shouldn't be any problems viewing the full site on iPhone so we'll look into that too. I have to say it's very fast on mine but text entry slows down and becomes laggy. The site loads and posts very quickly on all my computers but I know it's not the same for everyone so again we'll look into it. I guess it's hard to diagnise what the issue could be when there are so many browsers and operating systems out there. Ben will be along shortly to help and answer more technically than myself Cheers ped

It will... we're literally on the edge on our current server, the upgrade will double our capacity.

Yeah, server upgrade. Bitten the bullet and I'm doubling our server power tonight. Some features are being turned on and off in the meantime... we're re-enabling the search right now to see if it's stable but of not just check back tomorrow and we'll lightning quick. ped

Same for me - reported this morning. Ben is working on some things today so it might be due to that, or Invision sorting out the notifications things perhaps. Fingers crossed.
