1. Guys, I can't take orders yet, sorry - thanks for the interest though, should be a nice big batch this time. ped
2. I don't think there is a function to FORCE people to do it, and I certainly don't want to ask the mods to ask every single person who doesn't comply to adjust their adverts! Good idea though... perhaps Phatmonkey can tell us if it's technically possible. ped

ooh lala

Awesome, how does it sound?
4. Hi Dave, Indeed, although I am pretty sure I don't have one as I searched high and low last time. You will of course get one from the next batch FOC - and we all need to keep an eye out for a Basschat T-shirt wearing postie somewhere in London!! ped
5. Yo folks Indeed I am on the move throughout this week, but I did find a few Ts whilst I was packing things away, all orange, some small and possibly a couple larger. I'll get another batch ASAP - I am trying to find a deal where I can get them made and sent automatically but still make the T's cheapish. Cheers ped
6. Ah the good old U-box. Just been back and it brought back fond memories. Liking the Atlansia bass, too! http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/ubox.cgi?...p&tid=list3
7. I don't like change (especially when everything 'works') so I'll take your word for it and carry on in my ignorance!! ped
8. I have had the same set of Elixirs on for over a year and they still sound new, and the coasting hasn't come off at all (but I never use a pick and play lightly) - I would give the EB strings a try for fun but they don't seem to make a .040 set? ped
9. I see your wolverine thingy and raise you a cheeky frog:
10. I'll try an come to this, sounds great and it'll be good to catch up with Mark as we missed each other at Bass Day (mark's stand was rammed the whole time!) ped

Honestly, I was MEANT to be going up on Wednesday. Thing is, the selfish git has just released an album and has lots on his plate so we had to cancel a recording session. What a git. I'll deffo request more grooves asap...

16. If I was the one playing with the 'coding' then you and I wouldn't be talking right now... the universe would have collapsed.

Very easy to prove otherwise with a few simple answers. We'll see, I guess. Just doing our bit to protect the kind folk of BC from being misled and ripped off. Hamster is being entirely reasonable and sensitive, but as far as I know, he is still waiting. ped

Well we would be delighted to be proven wrong, but so far some very simple genuine questions have been left unanswered and met with derision which is rather odd to say the least. ped

New affiliate

Hi everyone The Bass Merchant is the newest 'Affiliate' on Basschat - see their brand new forum here http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showforum=78 Still as pure as untrampled snow. Keep checking in for the latest deals and news from the guys in the shop. Cheers ped
21. Hi matey I'll give you a call when I'm in Oxford either on Sat or Sunday... PM me your number :0)
22. Hi mate It does indeed hold them securely. I normally put them in the bag with the strings facing the centre. The centre padding is very thick and you certainly won't worry about the basses clacking together. Feel free to check it out and try your basses in it - as I say it's in Witney and I am in Oxford but don't mind meeting in Wit as my parents live there and I am off all next week (though going to the studio on Weds onwards!) Cheers ped
23. I think separates are the best idea really, though I do like having everything in 'one box' if possible! I wanted to ask what you mean by storing the amp in the cab for touring? If you mean making a 'slot' for the amp to slide into then you may well compromise the sound of the otherwise sealed cabinet (or designed with specifically sized ports). ped
24. My Marleaux bass also had a zero fret. I think they give more consistency between the fretted and unfretted notes and allow a lower action and overall setup. I like 'em. They do seem to be a European thing, though!
