1. Hi chaps, Extra big sizes will definitely be coming. I only ordered a few as a pilot and now I have greased the supply chain I will be ordering lots more in a full range of sizes. So I don't get confused though can you PM me if you want one with the appropriate title and size in your heading so i can keep track. If you receive a PM back soon then you have got one, apologies if not because they may have run out! Cheers pedro
2. Here are the first batch of Basschat T shirts, in sizes Large, XL and Medium. The sizes are detailed below. The T shirts are good quality and a cut above your average merchandise jobbies. You should be able to stand out at bass events with these, and be able to identify other basschatters at 40 paces. There will be more designs coming soon and other products on offer, but these first few I will sell through here with a view to setting up a more official BC store in the future. Payment via paypal or bank transfer. If you definitely want to but, PM me with the topic 'T shirt (size in brackets)' and I will reply back to those who get in there first with payment details. Details: * Neckline with bound 1 x 1 rib with lycra in contrast colour * Contrast Raglan sleeves, neck and hem * Twin needle stitching detail on neck, sleeves and hem * Fabric - 100% cotton * Weight - 160 - 165 gms XXL (47 - 49 inch chest) (0 available) XL (44 - 46 inch chest) (4 available) L (41 - 43 inch chest) (10 available) M (38 - 40 inch chest) (2 available) S (35 - 37 inch chest) (0 available) Asking £16 including P&P on these. Cheers! ped
3.
My Xmas pressie to myself was an LH500. Also got a Chick Corea CD with John Pattitcci on bass, so does that count?
Which album? Chick's son is called Thad btw lol. Legend
4. I got speaking to the UK Vigier rep and we swapped some tunes etc for fun. A full package was requested and as they were not totally repulsed a deal was done. I won't be able to buy anything at my endorser rate for some time though but really nice to be part of the family, so to speak! ped P.s Alun - think I said before - an endorsement with Elixir is a funny one, their strings last me so long I don't think I would ever speak to them!!! Nice to be on the team though, eh!
5. I am a member there and it was from TB that the idea for a UK based forum originally came. I still have lots of friends 'over there' and enjoy it a lot. A lot of it doesn't make any sense to be being English but then I wouldn't expect Americans on here to understand us totally either. As long as you keep things centred around our one language, that of the bass, the folk there seem nice enough, apart from one or two people who get on my wick lol) Cheers ped
6. I hope ARGH doesn't find his way here!!
7. Just played it and lost the ability to use my left hand for a few days

9. Awesome. The kiwi inlay is just right because it looks like the Kiwi has an eye! Looking forward to trying the bass... ped
10.
Ped, many thanks for the reply, I'll give it a bash in a sec. Had a right nightmare with it last night, found if I set the buffer really low, the whole thing just died. I love this stuff, and I work in IT!! right, I need to retrieve the POD from the end of the garden and repair the window!
hehe cool no problem. Probably worth mentioning that I was plugging into a standard spec laptop. I am not sure if the sound card in the computer makes any difference because the pod becomes the input and output device and handles all the audio, effectively bypassing the sound card. I think. Once set up and sorted it sounded amazing! Cheers ped
11. P.s there is probably a better/proper way of fixing your problem but I found this through trial and error - I hate computers sometimes! ped
12. Hi John, inside your recording programme there should be a 'settings' button for your ASIO driver. This will bring up a little line6 menu where you can change things like the sampling rate and so on. Here is a pic of the settings that worked for me: I found that sometimes when I moved the sliders the whole bloody system would crash and my computer would restart! It was fine from them on though! Cheers ped
13. I can't remember who it was but someone said something like: 'There are much more subtle forms of trading going on, we are a community and not a classifieds newspaper' I kind of like that - why not gauge interest, put feelers out and see if it is worth selling? Just like you would if you were talking to a mate' "I might sell my telly, what sort of price should I sell for" etc. ped
14. Enjoy the bass and hope to see you around :0) Cheers ped

Thanks - I think Ben is on top of it and we are backed up quite often. pedro
16. I agree, I kind of got tired of amplifiers, too. I found a single unit which does everything was the answer for me - superb clean sound with no extra anything, but literally anything else I need is available if I want to play or have a laugh, it is light, drives my IEMs and there are no messy patch cables and things to leave behind. Cheers ped
17. I was interested in one but need it to be stereo - the stereo ones cost a bomb! ped P.s watched Urb playing his and thought it was wayyyy cooool
18. Thanks! Quite a fearsome bit of kit. How similar does it sound to the Omni cabs I tried at the bash? I was impressed with them... ped
19.
I can't put any photos on here I am afraid because I hate computers and cannot be bothered to learn, sorry.
Oh, ok. Never mind then! ped
20. Got any picz of the DR250? I don't have an account at Finnbass... ped
21.
I e-mailed them about one a few times, and in the last e-mail he included.... Which made me laugh a lot.
LMAO
