    A very nice bass indeed!!.....the very few in this country were sold by the fore-runner of guitarguitar in newcastle (the name escapes me!)

    Cheers for the comments folks!........any others?...how does a pair of ext's or mnt's compare to a reasonable 410 etc I would be using cabs with a markbass LM 2 and markbass SD 800.

    Great cab....series 1 were fitted with B&C drivers, the later series 2 fitted with eminence deltalites.....both great cabs!

    Just wondering if there is any real world advantage to going for the higher spec mnt over the lesser ext?....it seems to me the ext's used as a pair could handle most gigs, i would assume the 212 mnt is the same but in one cabinet!...and from what i have read, never seem to be found wanting.

    I tend to favour front ported cabs!...but wondered if front ported cabs project better, and would this be beneficial to what the audience would hear, or does it make little difference?

    I had a through neck thumb from this era, and with a set of 45-105 roundwound strings the truss rod was on max and still too much relief for me.

    yet another vote for cort!....i have a cort arona...sandberg collaboration ironically, and a cracking bass to boot.

    Little mark 2/3 all the way, i find mine as loud as the streamliner 900 i used to own.

    I replaced the drivers in my aguilar gs112 with eminence kappalite 3020ho with frankly poor results.....leave well alone imho

    Love the thought and design that go into barefaced cabs, but just can't live with 9mm plywood, i have not heard of many failures though!.....just me i suppose!

    just bought two cds from bassbiscuits(chris).....pleasure doing business....highly recommended

    For sale is my tc electronic rs 112, only selling as i tend to use a single 15. cab is in mint condition with no missing finish or paint chips....sound wise, cab is very capable with a refined top end and suprising controlled bottom end. Happy to post as i still have original box !....cheapest on net are pmt at £379 each. shipping should come in at around £20 .

    Love the engineering and thought that go into barefaced cabs, but i could not live with something built out of 9mm plywood !.....

    No doubt Jerry Barnes is a great bass player, but i have to agree, he over played to the detriment of the band.....a little less = a whole lot more. A great set non the less!

    I borrowed a WTX 500 and i found it well under powered, hitting the stops all to early on the pre gain!....go ashdown
