  1. I am thinking of replacing the batteries in my peavey millennium bass with lithium batteries....will i get any benefit over the standard alkaline jobbies.....do you think it is worth it..... the bass does seem to have quite an appetite !!
  2. What a bargain!!....i think the uber cab is fitted with eminence deltalite drivers...should sound mega!
  3. Looks very nice, is this the john east circuit installed?
  4. I would go for the vanderkley, mainly because i like the larger cabinet giving the speakers room to move, and like you, i like front ported cabs
  5. bump, for a great usable classic keyboard
  6. Had one in white, had to change the horrible scratch plate, but a great bass, if a little heavy
  7. If Barefaced use 9mm plywood for their cabinets i think 15mm would be good!
  8. Superb basses!....Anthony Valenti used to work for Roger Sadowsky.....nuff said!
  9. Tom bought a yamaha bass from me, a cracking chap allround and a pleasure to deal with!....deal with confidence!
  10. cheers for that, it seems to me, the mnt, with a suitable amp would achieve more volume than the ext given the higher quality driver.
  11. As the title suggests, i'm just wondering if the 12 inch driver fitted to the 112 mnt is the faital pro 12fh 520 i know reading the review in bass guitar magazine the ext is fitted with the 12 pr 300(pics)....If this is the case, the 12fh 520 has great specs!! What would i gain over the lesser 112 ext?
  12. Link to the photo's won't work....for me anyway!
  13. any chance of pics?
  14. Cheers for the kind words Adam, they do bat well above their weight !
  15. bump...for a great sounding and use-able 5 string....pm's replied to.
  16. Got to say, i like the look of these new basses, and i think we all know, cort build quality is very good....Mmm
  17. For sale is my yamaha BB 605 bass.... in superb condition bar a couple of slight scratches near the jack socket. The bass is built on the Nathan East silouette and being a 34 inch scale is very comfortable to play...bass weight is 9lbs Control wise, the bass has volume, balance, bass and treble, also there is a mid cut circuit(switchable) a bit like the vpf circuit on markbass amps.....bass has new 40-125 strings and is set up and plays beautifully.....Look them up on youtube and see what you think!...also well thought of on the talkbass forum....price to include shipping(uk) in hard but slightly tatty case. 18. just for info, i do believe the mark 1 cabs are fitted with eminence deltalite drivers and the tolex covered mark 2 version has faital pro drivers either way, a great cab !
  19. absolute bargain this is!....multi-laminate neck, light weight, good tone circuit and a pair of mega hairy-arsed pickups haha !!
  20. I like the look of the j-tone.....how much adjustment do we really need !!
  21. a company very similar to warmoth, but possibly slightly cheaper !
  22. What about a peavey millennium 5.....(another one that is) lol
  23. Not an easy job as fingerboard needs to be removed in order to install graphite rods either side of truss rod....it is do-able!, but would be costly. The shuker, being a five piece neck has far better stability than a one piece regardless of graphite rods!...in my opinion, leave well alone
  24. Hi, does bass have a battery box fitted or is battery under control plate?
