    i have a very nice blade bass.....two piece medium weight swamp ash body(natural).....maple neck and finger board....reverse tuners...normal fender type cross head truss rod.....volume,volume,treble and bass plus small active passive switch.....the serial number is 77192. i was led to believe it was made in japan in the 90s....can anybody elaborate? thankyou.

    cool bass....like the idea of a truss-rod as well ....many graphite necks don't use them!!

    hi folks, have just got a tokai jazz sound bass and wondering about its vintage....the serial number is L 09177 ...it has normal fender shaped headstock....three piece body....thin laminate rosewood finger board....vintage style bridge with knurled saddles would appreciate any info........cheers me dears

    oh dear....what is your mate thinking of....behringer!!....the sessionbass is a great amp..well layed out...200 big watts!!...if i didnt have me little trace amp i would want this.

    yes i agree with japanAxe.....you dont want stuart little crawling up your port hole...and remember! if he can get his head through the rest follows!!....tell the wife(if there is one) to shut her cakehole as gear is more important than a tidy house Amen

    the purple chilli cabs may well sound very good....but me thinks the styling is a little too different ...i used to own a mini with vinyl seats that colour having said that,i applaude them for trying new ideas

    well folks,as it says above....the handle(flight case type) vibrates on my gs112 when playing at reasonable volume,the handle seems in good condition...still having a strong spring......any ideas...short of wedging a lump of foam in??.....has this happened with anybody else?

    somebody mentioned that john elliot has been touched by the hands of god!!...i agree....his basses are without doubt the best relics available, if you visit his website you will see the painstaking detail he takes building these masterpieces!...john obviously has a great love of vintage fenders.

    yes,i have to say...i agree 4000....very good player but lacked feel and was'nt sympathetic with the other muso's bernard was a big influence on me and he did'nt come close....

    just for information folks.....if the chevron style plastic corners on your cabs are looking scruffy and scuffed a company called pro audio stash stock such items at.....wait for it....£1.76 each....i am replacing all mine on my bergs will tidy them up a treat i think these will fit markbass...epifani...swr and quite a few others.... tel 01424 429641

    olks, up for grabs is my 450 watt !!!! databass combo...very compact.... and very loud and punchy! this has served me well for the last 12 years.....excellent condition with padded cover and manual this amp was well ahead of its time as it incorporates a processor controlled low end!! similar to higher end pa systems black widow 15 inch speaker.....look them up on the web.....harmony central/talkbass etc collect only as i have no box and amp 65lbs in weight. thank you my low frequency lovers.
