    Terrific and upstanding bloke, Mark bought my EBS 410. Deal was actually done through Facebook but you mentioned basschat so I found you 😉. Showed up when he said he would, with great communication, don't hesitate to deal with him guys and girls!!!

    I can vouch for these being one of the most comfortable basses around, I don't think I could ever part with my '87. (Mine is painted and it's quite nice to see yours, and know what mine looks like under the deep sparkle paintjob)

    The height of the bridge should be taken in to account when choosing the neck angle, a decent plan to begin with and 'high bridge' problems can be avoided. This makes me question the whole construction process.

    That's my advert, I can assure you the carpet isn't worn, I don't have a cat but I did however have a white dog. It will be hoovered to within an inch of its life if sale were to come along 😉 plus it's now down to £300

    With really fine wire wool, you can burnish the wenge, because it's so hard you won't affect the shape, but with a lot of pressure you can get a shine on there. I did it on my SS2 which was looking rather like your thumb.

    It would indeed the pictures didn't do it justice, black metallic finish, it's covered in a gold dusting... Sexual!!

    Just treated myself to one of these, same year, only #11 ever made maybe they shared a rack at some point all those years ago. Fantastic bass, the most natural I've ever felt... And the sound, OH MY GOD THE SOUND THEY MAKE!!! Sends a shiver down my spine...
