Just got this today! My first ever foray in to the expensive(ish) bass market when previously I'd never spent more than £80 on a bass! It's... devine to play and listen to! I will do some videos & stuff when I'm more acquainted and less tired! Here's some eye candy!

Well after you guys have said how crazy this rig is you're not quite wrong at all!... not had the volume past a quarter... thing is insane and packs some crazy heft!

It is really really light... much lighter than my squier jazz which is a bit of an anchor.. do you have any idea what the body would be? cheers

Every so often there are good deals to be had..got my first 2 basses from cash converters Most of the time the basses really do need a good clean/setup and can be got fairly cheap.. got my squier jazz with a gigbag for £60

Flats to rounds is a very radical change.. What issues did yup have with tension?

I prefer it that way... I find it makes my playing more electrifying..

Just spent a good few hours getting the set up right on this thing as it was pretty bad at first with not many note sounding past the 12th fret and buzz anywhere else! managed to raise the action to my likings and now it sounds great... even better I raised the pickups as they were really low and that has done wonders for the tone I think... I need to do some recordings! here's better pics! )

A leisure/marine battery is much better for his purpose than a car battery as they are much better at being full depleted and recharged over and over again.. whereas car batteries don't like this one bit!

There is no VAT in the USA.. just sales tax in some states.. so 999$ + 20% VAT = 1200$ = UK Price

Not the best idea.. Having bass sources coming from two sides can create phasing issues which means your bass will be very loud in some parts of the room and nearly inaudible in others!

I really don't quite know what I've let myself in for.. can't wait to try it out at proper volumes.. I took half of it to my mates and pushed it momentarily and got told to stop as everything was falling off everything and his tropical fish didn't look best pleased!
