1. I am on Anti-TNF. I got psoriatic arthritis at 19. I had Sulphasalazine that worked for a few years. Got onto Methotrexate which was great for a few years. My condition deteriorated so badly. My knees were swollen, my neck was so bad i couldnt turn my head. My feet are pretty disfigured and the pain was unbearable. My wrist has seized up amd cant bend it. I was at the point of giving up work.
Since being on Anti TNF, i joined a gym, took up bass, all the swelling has gone, and most of my pain has all gone. I can't guarantee it would work for you , or even if you will be prescribed it, but to use an often used phrase, it has changed my live. Hopefully you will get help as soon as possible, as it is great if it works.

It's an interesting one because I don't really see something as being new unless it's still sealed in its box - musical instruments blur the lines because shops will often take them out to do a set-up which I'm ok with but once it's been out on the shop floor for people to look at/try out then surely it's ex-demo not new?

I've had to learn to let it go with music stuff, you've just got to hope n one has touched your stuff with greasy fingers.
When does a pair of jeans become ex demo? I would imagine we have all tried on a pair of jeans. Who knows if the last person to try them on had clean underwear. If the bass still looks pristine, and still has the cellophane over the pickguard, I would regard that as new personally .

We're there any reports about Sinead saying anything about Prince and Arsinio Hall?

    Blue
Yes. Something on the line that Hall provided drugs to Prince that killed him. So Hall is sueing O'Connor

  4. I always find it hard to have principles. If you like the Bass, and it is a good price, then it is always hard for me too cut of my nose to spite my face, so too speak. I can understand it if you feel that strongly, but I would rather give him the money than some box shifters. My first visit he seemed a bit schizophrenic, in that he could be a bit short with you if you ask the `wrong` question then give some great advice and be really helpful. I came away very happy with my purchase and overall experience

  5. It is like any gear. Do you need a Ferrarri when a Fiat will do? It is up too you to decide what you want to buy. I would be surprised to see a Ritter bass at the pub, but if that is what they want to play, then it is a good enough reason for me.My bass is far too good for me, but I bought it too learn on and grow with me.

I have one bass and intend to buy another bass every year for the rest of my life, without selling any. Just don't tell the missus...
Unless you live in a mansion, I think you might get away with it for maybe 3 years, but it would get harder

  7. Never really liked his music, but he was one hell of a great guitarist. It is sad news.
Interestingly, there was an article on, I think, the BBC. It went on too say that there are seemingly more deaths because of the way celebrity has come about. Before the 50`s, the celebrities were film stars, but since the rise of pop music, and TV there are so many celebrities in their 60`s plus, so it is inevitable that it just seems more. If you think that people like David Gest had celebrity status, then it is no wonder there seems so many

Not my generation, never been a fan.Never considered him as a big league player.

Flea is not and has never been in the same league as a McCartney, Stanley Clark, Larry Grahm, Rocco Prestia, Chuck Rainy or Willie Weeks etc...

    I thought it was embarrassing.

To his defense it's not a very good vehicle for bass guitar

    Blue
i would imagine he is a lot more famous than all of those bar McCartney

Were not far apart on this one. I am the worlds biggest Macca fan. I play a Hofner Club bass because of the look, but I don't sound like Paul. I wish 😄.

Interesting that Paul has no business ties with Hofner, never has. Yet one could say any Hofner violin style bass is Macca Signature.Paul put Hofner in the real big business arena as far as I'm concerned.
I was talking to a Hofner rep, and he said they sell more left handed basses than right, and the vast majority are hung on walls.
