'musician' is a much abused term ....I stopped trying to tell peeps that I was a DJ ages back, these days, if pushed, I might admit to running a Sound System - that's usually obscure enough.
Probably best if you were a radio DJ in the 70`s

At this point, I am really looking forward to seeing the Manne stand. Won`t be able to buy one, but they look fantastic from the website.

I have to admit to liking music way too loud. I have a jukebox in my shed right at the top of my garden. I love the cold, rainy nights. I have maybe 1 month left until I will have to turn it down to low levels until next winter

I liked the Rikkers last year

If you play the note with conviction, then it must be the right note

I will be there on Sunday

Pretty awful racket, but i have to say she is good. Also makes a change from the usual RHCP etc covers. I didnt really hear anything wrong with the tone. She is a lot better than me.

If you watch some of the clips of some of the people playing basd with disabilities, you will do just fine. Just need to find the right technique and I am pretty sure you will progress

It looks like the back of a dining chair

If it is only the left hand that you have problems with, and you can still use your plucking fingers, have you tried a left handed bass. I had to do it as I have no movement in my little finger. It was difficult at first, but the best thing I did in terms of bass playing
Looking at the above would OCD be justified?
Only if you keep them all clean

I loved them. I am going to get K out later. I think a lot of people who hated them was because of Crispian Mills mum, and just thought he was a privileged knob, I didn`t think there was a bad song on K personally.

I can justify my £50 second hand Peavey and Eden 50 watt amp. I cant justify the Clover,Warwick or Ashdown 15 watt valve amp,but I wouldnt want to part with any of it.

What have leftys done to you? It is awful
Hi Timmo And to cap it all my new flight case landed today and she said what is that for, I said I sold a bass and I need to replace it with something new, perfect
Sounds like the best mistake you have ever made. Perhaps we could get a crappy basschat bass just so we can sneakily get it delivered, then make out we are just selling a bass to fund a new one. What can possibly go wrong?
-
You can tell your wife that you have sold a bass to fund another when it gets picked up. Perfect result

It must have taken ages to do that. What a waste . It is probably the worst attempt at trying to be different I have ever seen

I found it very frustrating not knowing where all the notes on the fretboard were. I always thought it would all fit into place. I never really understood scales for a long time, until I really had a go at cracking the fretboard. I know everyone has a different way, but mine was simply writing each note on a piece of paper, and turning them over at random. I picked out 3 to get something going, and the first was F, A , B. Once I located the 3 notes, I found playing them all down the board a revelation, in terms of how scales are used etc. When i found you could go from F fret 1 E string,, B on the second fret A string,F on the 3rd fret D string, and B on the 4th fret G string, back to 2nd fret , G string,( basically going diagonally from F, B and octaves of ) then back to the triiangles of 4th fret G string, 2nd fret G string and 3rd fret D string, and so many combinations, all the way to the 12th fret, everything I had learned really started falling into place. Now I pick a key. and eithr Major Minor, and pick out the notes that are either in the major, or Minor keys, and finding it really helps with the notes in the scale. It works for me, but maybe not perfect. In essence, cracking the fretboard seems to be the best way to understand how things work for me.

How The Beatles still grip Liverpool ...
Hopefully - when I did this painting I used gen-yoo-ine River Mersey water. A friend of mine in NYC said it was a genius idea and to quote him "those crazy yanks will love it". Now I'm still working out how best to flog it.
I didn`t realise you actually painted it. For some reason I thought you were joking, because I thought it was a photo. The detail on it is outstanding. Really impressed -
The chocolate is expensive there. The wife somehow lost her sandals there as well, so if anyone finds them, you know who to contact -
Well, Bound 2 has got to be the worst rapping I have ever heard, and the rest of it is just as bad. If it had been anyone bar Kanye it would have been dismissed as third rate rapping as that is exactly what it is. The sampling is fourth rate. Oh yeah, he can`t sing Bohemian Rhapsody either.
How many white, working/middle class men listen to Kanye or any hip hop? Don't come out with 'I heard College Dropout X years ago'. Of course you don't get it. Therefore, you don't listen to it. How can you diss something you've never heard before? Morons.
I would imagine most people have heard Kanye. I know some people that like Hip Hop. Bit of a moronic statement really.
That's exactly what he's wrong about.
I agree. It shows the absurdity of the "you had to be there " comment. I wasn`t even born when The Small Faces called it a day. By saying that, it seems Blue is saying that the Beatles were only of a time period, I think he mistakes people not liking the Beatles as some sort of a personal affront for some reason.Like many people who are not Bealtes fans, they appreciate the legacy and what they did for pop music, but you don`t have to like them. I hate rap and hip hop, but can appreciate they have contributed a lot to music. I think I have strayed a long way from the original topic now
