Ahh wouldn't part with home build number 2. for two reasons
A, I like the sound and feel of it too much
B, too many mistakes/learning experiences in the building to pass it on

Ahh Medicine Hat aka the gas city. You will find plenty of discussion of GAS on these pages but with a different meaning.
Any sing of spring in Alberta yet?
Yes give it a go. You would be hard pressed to source the parts for that price. Elm is pretty tough so you might have a bit of work sanding to get a good smooth finish, but for that price yes worth a punt and it will be a great start into the joys of bass construction.

I dont know anything about this particular bass but i did have a 4 string rbx a while ago and it was a cracking bass. It might be worth checking out.
