1. Top notch, great fun, and you all look very sharp scrubbed up and suited. Great stuff Any more gigs planned for oxford?
2. FWIW All potentially good choices for a first bass. I have always been impressed with the value for money of the Ibanez offerings and the slimness of the neck profile. Give them all a close look, listen and feel ;-0 . Check the ends of the frets are well finished and seated, this has been a minor niggle on a Yamaha RBX that I once had (although it was easily sorted and it sounded great). Just my two pence worth
3. That SWR look very nice, but if that doesn't tickle your fancy I have a Warwick X-treme 5.1 I am looking to go to a lighter weight set up an LM250 would be ideal.
4. Ahh I remember, as a kid, when these came out and thinking that I would never be able to afford one. I was right. They still look very cool.
5. Nice, very laid back feel, I can imagine listening to that on a sunday morning.
6. Aghh I wanted to get to this but I ran out of child care.....Hey ho Anway how did it go

10. Hello, Does anyone have any info on how I can take the audio of a short avi movie recorded on a camera and export it to a file format that I can then make a loop out of. Preferable on a mac? Thanks Pete
11. A pair of Nordy dual coil pups for a five string. Bought from this forum for a project but now surplus to my requirements. These are black with exposed dual pole pieces and are replacements for Bartolini P2 so they fit a 4.25" x 1.25" routing. They are a bridge and neck pair so slightly narrower string spacing on the neck pick up. These were unused by me but have been used in the past by a previous owner, however they are in very good condition. These have a wide pole spacing and are suitable for 19mm @ the bridge string spacing. £100 including postage I got these from Bigwan on this forum at the beginning of the year. Here is a link to the original sale thread from whence I got them. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=74947&hl= Pete

15.
Both! Tuners will likely be sorted by Cola, looking at them. Bridge cover will need replating - any idea where it should go to?
Your local custom bike or car workshop should be able to recommend a good local plating firm.
16. Crikey that sounds good. I loved the facial expressions as well! brilliant.
17. I have a warwick xtreme 5.1 head if you are interested in that plus cash from me! Drop me a PM if you are interested. Pete
18. Just got tanglewood acoustic guitar from Andy and I am very happy with it. Top guy to deal with, highly recommended.
19. Yes please Alien You have PM
Well, I've finally come to the conclusion that I am not now, nor will I ever be, a guitarist. With that in mind, it's time to sell this guitar. It's a Tanglewood TW28SNQ dreadnought acoustic, and comes with a TGI padded gig bag. It's got a spruce top, mahogany neck (and presumably sides and back too, but I can't be sure), rosewood board. It's in really good condition apart from a couple of little marks on the fingerboard (which will probably buff out with lemon oil), a tiny ding on the rear bout (about 3mm long) and a bit of wear at the end of the headstock. This shows the wear on the headstock The gig bag is pretty decent, with front and side handles, removeable backpack straps, 5 pockets and good thick padding (about 25mm thick). And I'll even chuck in a couple of sets of strings. Martin phosphor bronze, light gauge 12-54 I'm looking for £90 for this, or at least a very close offer. Pickup is probably best due to the nature of the thing, or I could deliver within about 30 miles or so of MK for fuel costs. Thanks for looking Andy
20. Hi Chrisd Are you still looking? I am based to the east over in Witney so maybe just out of range, You might want someone more local if not drop me a pm Cheers Pete
We play some covers (Sublime, Capdown, Bosstones) and some ska versions of non-ska songs (Enter Sandman for example) but mostly write original songs - but are yet to find a regular bassist, so are yet to play any gigs. We rehearse weekly (most Tuesdays), and are all in our mid-20s to early-30s. Now, to sit back and wait for the stampeding masses to reply to this thread...
21. Yup Just bought some barts from Rob. good communication, rapid dispatch, well packed recommended!
