1. Generally anything in the charts makes me feel like this...
 2.
That is a ganglion, but it's not a pic of the OP's hand. We need a pic of the OP's hand!!
+1 definitly need a pic... I can't work out which part of the hand we're talking about
 3.
Alex James looked bored?
he always looks bored... it's part of his "too cool for school" image.
 4.
Just information be caryfull if anybody will provide yuo this account: Account No: -------- Sort code ------ Bank NatWest
I'd be tempted to use those details to order myself a brand new 6 string streamer from Warwick.... On a more serious note, maybe not a good idea to post someones bank details online... thieving scumbag or not.
 5. Similar to precisions I eschewed jazz bases for years as they were Fenders and represented everything I hated in an instrument... Second time around I am older and wiser and I love a good jazz bass, in fact should it ever actually arrive I have a fretless jazz on order at the moment. I love the bridge pickup bark. Wal are the basses for me but I do regard them as a hyper jazz bass, essentialy a louder, wider, growlier version of that bridge pick up Jazz bass sound
 6. Asides from potential venting issues etc and the undoubted epic weight of this thing, I'd love to see / hear it when it's built... folly or not sometimes it's fun to build something for the sake of it
 7. I think the buyer is now all to aware of the precautions he should have taken... But it's important not to blame the victim here. Some poor guy was trusting enough to part with a tidy sum of money and a theiving sumbag kept the money and the bass.
 8.
Yes, I've got a Crazy 8. I use it lot with DB. It seems to have more bottom and thump than the Wizzy 10. A great cab.
Interesting... Have you tried it with electric bass?
 9.
[sub]Nothing whatsoever. [/sub]
me neither... in fact I hardly ever listen to music that I'm not playing myself.
 10.
Why..? Won't they hear it from his home..?
I'll certainly be able to hear it in my home if he playes the underworld with that thing...
 11.
My first gig with it will be the Camden underworld in June
You'll have to get down and (more importantly) back up the stairs with it at the underworld....
 12.
OK. But who/what is OBBM?
OBBM is a basschatter and a one stop shop for anything cable related. He has a website called bassicbits, but i'd just drop him a PM. All my speaker / instrument cables are OBBM, they are top quality and a reasonable price.
 13.
As time goes by and gone through many different basses. I came to a conclusion that P bass is the best thing lol. Plug and go and turn the volume up and everything works well in the mix lol.
True indeed... I very much enjoyed playing the second one I bought after all that time in the P bassless wilderness.
 14.
I use to hate precision bass because is my first bass was a precision.
Me too... mine was so bad I didn't even try another one for 17 years, during that time I felt a little bit sick every time I saw one.
 15.
all for £5 an hr !!!!!!
£5 an hour In all fairness though, I do hear what your saying but I have seen some nice clean studios with decent gear (some of them even have a bass amp other than a ragged to death ashdown monstrosity) so it must be possible to run a decent place at a profit...
 16.
...or bass guitar through my GK MB200 / Wizzy 10 setup.
No idea about all that techinal stuff you just asked, but I also use an MB200 / Wizzy 10 setup for acoustic style gigs and it's great. I reckon it's the smallest usable set up you can get away with (except perhaps one of those PJB jobbies). I did try out a few practice amps etc but none of them made my bass actually sound like a bass, just a nasty honky twang.
 17.
You may indeed be right there ! How they got away with beign so unabashedly crap baffled me. Every time I went there after the 1st time I did so under extreme duress. The place made me want to check up on the dates of my last immunisation boosters.
Yes it was a perfect trio of crap gear, mouldy rooms and pungent aroma... They did have a huge old school hiwatt cab in the top room for a while though that sounded pretty good... however that was the only positive thing that ever occurred there ever.
 18.
Ashdown's new ABM range has a lifetime warranty....
Can't get much better than that.
 19.
I've not been down that part of town for a while (as you can obviously tell !) The world of music is a better place for its destruction.
indeed... I doubt many tears will be shed for its passing. I'm convinced it's entirly to blame for the standard of London studios... everyone else thought "well if enterprise can get away with it so can we" Mind you it had competition from Scar studios in Camden (also now thankfully closed) for title of "Londons crapiest rehearsal studio"
 20.
Enterprise in Denmark Street ? I refuse to use it...it should be wiped off the face of the earth..
It has been...
 21. It's really unfortunate... There is an element of trust in all trades and sadly there are those out there who will exploit it. Nothing BC or the mods could have done to prevent this. I do feel for the guy who has potentially lost out here... still hopeful of a positive outcome
 22. I saw a video of my sisters wedding a few years back and in one scene saw the back of a fat bald guy in a navy suit chatting up my missus... Then i realised I'd worn a navy suit ... joined the gym the next day.
 23.
I use a Matamp GT200 into a Barefaced '69er

on pretty much full tilt too.
A 200watt all valve matamp on full blast through a barefaced cab? Are you playing stadia without PA support?
 24. The Standard Mesa Powerhouse 8x10 comes in at a little over 12 stone if she's up to it?
 25.
The Jubilee School is just off Station Road, about ½ mile from Addlestone Station..! Are you sure you're trying at all..?
They must have moved the school since I last looked
