1. Mine was very reasonable...
 2. I'm having Tom at COG build me a pre amp/ DI to my exact specifications. I'm sure he'll be able to knock you up exactly what you want.
 3. Sold pending the usual stuff...
 4. Hi guys, GK Neo 112 II Cab up for sale. Neo 112 Features

12-inch GK Paragon cast-frame Neodymium loudspeakers
300 watts power output
8 ohm input
Smart black tolex speaker enclosure with silver-coloured metal grille
23.5" width x 15.5" height x 16.5" depth
Weighs 30lb
Only used at home and it's unmarked and as new condition, includes the GK Speakon cable that came with it. 5. I've been learning a lot of stuff by ear for a new band.... songwriters have a habit or writing stuff which doesn't conform to any recognized mode structure - so you may work out its in G then you'll be happily playing along and they will throw in a random unrelated chord and your melody dies...
 6. Put an advert in the wanted section for a thumpinator, was all sorted buy the end of the day and received it in the post the next day. Great communication and next day delivery, can't say fairer than that.
 7.
Getting a Thomann order delivered today... the last one was delivered by UPS with no issues but as far as I can tell, this time the delivery is in the grubby hands of ParcelFarce... so understandably I'm just a little anxious about it. Was ParcelFarce included in the Royal Mail sell-off? I know the staff voted overwhelmingly against it, but of course that means nothing.
I've got a Thomann order currently [s]being used as a football in DHLs warehouse[/s] in process at the moment with DHL... UPS, Parcelforce, DHL, do they just use whatever UK courier happens to be free?
 8. My 83 Jazz was shipped in a mint original hardcase.... then FedEx got hold of it... Now its in an original case with a smashed corner, bent metalwork and a broken latch...
 9.
We need more of this!
I have no soundcard on my work PC but that's some sterling work on the bass face front.... excellent stuff.
 10.
How would you improve it (apart from having your own band on, obviously)?
Well after my first time watching and enormous sample size of five bands, I've obviously come to the only logical conclusion... We cannot improve it... there is no hope... the future is bleak... music is dead.....
 11.
Have to say it was a particularly challenging show last night I always record it so I can fast forward through the stuff I'm not interested in, last night it was most of it. But every now and then I find something I really didn't expect to enjoy so it's worth the effort.
Yeah I guess recording it is the way to go... I thought the guy with the beard singing over acoustic guitar was alright. Although even he had this over stylized voice everyone seems to be going for these days... kept singing in short stabs that rose in pitch as the phrase went on. Kinda like he'd just taken something hot out of the oven and was looking around for somewhere to put it before the heat burnt through his oven gloves...
 12.
At least it's a live music show though instead of autotuned singing to a backing track.
True...
 13. Watched this for the first time last night. Don't know if it's usually like this, but is this really what passes for 'real' live music?.... That John something or other guy with the arty haircut writhing on the floor with emotion, whilst singing in a style that made him sound like he had a kazoo stuck in his windpipe... and what was the deal with that woman shouting random notes whilst playing air guitar, accompanied by a bloke playing a box?... utter pants... Rob
 14.
Communist!!
The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of buying too much stuff in the basschat marketplace...
 15.
Camden, they sound good too! Very modern and versatile. If you want to buy mine, you'll have to beat TRBboy's impressive offer....!!!
£50 and you can keep my penny fee for my thoughts on your original question... In all seriousness I've no idea how much you would get for it really, they never seem to show up for sale (which is another indicator they are quality instruments).
 16.
...the tuners on my Avenger were absolutely rubbish. Good value, modern sounding instruments though!
I think the one I was looking at was an Avenger... I do think Clover basses look pretty unique though, guess that's why I'm drawn to them. Must stop buying bass stuff though, I need to learn that just because something is nice it doesn't mean I have to buy it
 17. Not by FedEx, they'd manage to break it... I've always liked the look of Clover basses, they had a lovely looking sixer in bass direct a while back. I wonder why they aren't a more prominent brand here in the UK...
 18. Keep the Clover... Can I have that penny now please?
 19. Still a Wal..... always a Wal....
 20. Paul bought my G&L Tribby and was a pleasure to deal with. Organized a time and place to meet and bang on time there he was... I could have stayed and talked about basses for hours. Nice chap. Rob
 21.
Don't think they get them that good on x factor, do they?
I've no idea, never watched it.
Think MJ and Prince crossed and you'll get close.
In which case he is definitely worth a listen!
 22. Damn missed the Thumpinator....
 23.
YouTube is your friend - Runaway Baby, Locked Out Of Heaven, The Lazy Song, When I Was Your Man plus some others I forgotten the names of all worth checking out if you like well crafted pop songs.
Ah I'll have to check him out when I'm not supposed to be working.... Was he an x factor guy or something?
 24. I have absolutely no idea who he is ...
 25. How long to wait? As long as you were told it was going to take... It's unacceptable that builders just let shipping dates pass without a word. If the delay is communicated to you in a timely fashion then no problem, but just missing dates is not right. Rob
