1.
Another 96 Warwick Corvette, i can vouch for how good these basses are. Did this used to be Rasta's?
Yer thats right it was Rasta's. Cracking bass but I've just got too many!
2. Up for sale is a Warwick Corvette Bubinga made in 1996. It has a bolt on wenge neck with a very slim profile and has a brass nut. The pickps have been upgraded to EMG with a 3 band EMG circuit with sweepable mids, and a 3 way switch instead of a blend pot. Despite my reservations this has been fine and produces three great, very useable sounds. The Dunlop straplocks are also included and the bass is currently strung with D'addario Nickels. There is some wear as can be expected from a bass of 14years but nothing that affects playability. Most notably there is quite a lot of wear on the rear of the headstock and the circuit cover is held on by electrical tape as it no longer clips on. Also the jack has been replaced, and although the replacement isn't the most aesthetically pleasing, I have had no problems with it. I'm looking for <b>£375</b> plus postage, in a Stagg semi-hard case, but I would be willing to entertain offers of fretted basses or maybe a 2x10 cab. Please PM with any questions. <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/Warwick.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickFront.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickBack.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickHead.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickHeadRear.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickHeadDings.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickBackDings.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> <img src="http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m252/jon_kemo/WarwickJack.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
3. Now sold, many thanks
4. Bump with a price drop
5. Bump to say this is now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=120668374503
6. Tokai Thunderbird in black with rosewood fretboard and set neck with an alder body, currently strung with Elixirs with plenty of life left in them. Two humbucking pickups and a Volume/Volume/Tone passive control setup. With both pickups on full there is the typical growly, balls out rock tone, although when blending the pickups a wide variety of tones can be achieved. Unfortunately the bass does have a large ding, which is photographed, along with several other scratches and knocks, although this is reflected in the price. I am looking for £140 for this and would prefer collection from Lincoln or I'm willing to travel to meet within reason. Please PM with any questions.
7. For sale is a Satellite Jazz Bass in Sunburst with a rosewood blocked and bound neck. The bass is not in the greatest condition but I have photographed as much of the damage as I can. It has the usual Volume/Volume/Tone passive setup and has a very useable sound although does have the typical single coil hum when both pickups aren't on full. There is no hard case available but it will be well packaged and sent fully insured. I'm looking for £65 posted Any questions please PM.
8. Yer thinking about it thats probably what the A in GB34A stands for (doh!). As i said though great bass, nice hardware (hipshot tuners, locking jack) just didnt like the electronics.
9. The neck on the GB74 I had was possibly the most comfy I've played. Really nice bass just didn't really like the electronics. Isn't the GB34 passive though?
10.
Is this still available?
Ooops no sorry this has sold. Will amend the title accordingly!
11. Some interesting offers but nothing sorted. Bump
12. Some interest but nothing sorted yet, BUMP
13. Putting my '08 new series American Precision, in Charcoal Frost with a maple neck, up for sale or trade as I fancy another change! It is in great condition and comes with a Fender rectangular leather bound hard case. The pickup has been upgraded to a Wizard Area 51 Stealth and has a massive output to get the "Pbass on steroids" tone! I've also put a Hipshot de-tuner on the E-string and the original peg will be included in the sale. The pictures show the bass with a black scratchplate but the original white one will also be included. I am looking for £600 posted but am also more than willing to entertain trade offers on fretted four strings. Any questions feel free to PM. Cheers, Jon
14. Saturday morning bump
15.
Do you have the footswitch for the channel selection and the octave/mute?
Oops yes completely forgot about that! Yes i do have it.
16. After just buying an Orange AD200B I'm looking to sell my, Made in the USA, Ampeg SVT-5 Pro. Its in good condition with a couple of scratches on the front handles that can be seen on the photos. Its a two channel amp, one clean and one overdrive which are blendable and also a built in compressor and octaver which are all activated via the included footswitch. The amp kicks out the following volumes: 1350 Watts Mono-Bridged @ 4 Ohms (1000 Watts Continuous) 840 Watts Mono-Bridged @ 8 Ohms (680 Watts Continuous) 2 x 675 Watts @ 2 Ohms (500 Watts Continuous) 2 x 420 Watts @ 4 Ohms (340 Watts Continuous) 2 x 255 Watts @ 8 Ohms (205 Watts Continuous) For more info and technical specs on the amp the manual can be found here: http://www.ampeg.com/manuals/SVT5PRO.pdf Overall its a really great sounding amp in good condition. I'm looking for £550 posted in the UK and am ideally looking for a sale only but may be interested in trades on basses in a J/MM configuration
17. Some interest but no takers yet, so just another bump
18. Right, don't really want to do this as this is a cracking bass but I need the money for other things and as this was last in unfortunately it is first out! This is the Ltd II model Yamaha Attitude Billy Sheehan sig with Dimarzio Pickups (P in the standard position and Will Power woofer at the neck), scallopped frets from 17-21, Hipshot D-Tuner and an output for each pickup. More info can be found here: http://www.yamaha.com/guitars/products/pro...tml?CNTID=60027 As I say this is a really great bass and has a massive output and huge sound. It does have a few dings and a few rough patches on the neck but these don't affect the playability. As a result of the condition I'm essentially looking for what I paid for it a couple of weeks ago, thats £600. I would much prefer for a buyer to collect or will meet up if not too far although I will post if I have to. Any questions please PM. Cheers, Jon
19. Just bought a Wizard Thumper from Jerry. Paid for one day, arrived the next. Couldn't ask for more!
