Has anyone ever had gear damaged and the person who damaged it denied doing it or said it was damaged before they borrowed it

Its only in my nature to give the wife/car answer if the person asking is a right tosser who is known to take the mick

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve today to do a trade with and what a lovely chap I bored him sensless jibbering on and he even listened lol But joking aside his communication was spot on his bass was exactly as described and Im looking forward to playing it so really not much more to say deal with Steve in confidence because as I say he really is a top bloke and a credit to Basschat I hope that I get the chance to meet up with him again in the future

I just remembered years ago a shall we say a mate I use the term loosely as I didn't really like him asked to borrow my car so I said sure mind if I borrow your wife (she was rather pretty) he really got upset chucked a wobble and stormed off lol maybe this is how we should handle people who want to borrow our basses lol

I will only lend stuff to people I know and trust who will respect my stuff and I say you break it you pay for it and I would do the same if I accidentally damaged something I'd borrowed from a mate as accidents do happen unfortunately

I've slapped pretty hard while pulling on a g string in the past lol

I like hi mass bridges as I find them sturdier but as far as I can tell they make no difference to the sound at all

Not sure about the metal drive The ebs Billy sheehan drive is awesome but expensive palmer ubertrimer (god knows if I spelt that right) is also a great pedal I'm no pedal expert and you will go down the rabbit hole with drives lol 😮😀

Nice board How do you find the diaddario tuner I really fancied one but the 70 quid price tag really put me off

I'm not cutting my nose off to spite my face I just have no need or want to use amazon its only my opinion and anyone else can obviously do what they please 😀

I got senjutsu by iron maiden which was my only purchase this year but to be honest I really didn't enjoy it just didn't do it for me

I won't use amazon I agree the next day delivery must be awesome but it comes at a cost that is just too much to ignore the treatment of staff the effects on the environment and the contribution of killing off all other competition You wait and see when everything else has gone and all that's left is amazon you watch the prices rise and people and planet suffer more
