1. I only use a couple of effects now I don't need them but they make my playing sound closer to the song I am learning so that motivates me more, I think it is up to the individual what effects they have and use
2.
Have you got a tuner pedal? If so it most likely mutes the output when you tune.
yes I have a TU-2 on my board
3. I was just wondering which was better to have for silent bass changeovers a mute pedal or a circuit breaker cable? I like the idea of both so what is out there guys that is worth looking at? I have only really seen murder one mute pedals or Planet waves circuit breaker cables. and to be honest I have never bothered with them before so I am not really sure what other brands or models are worth looking at.
4. I always use the wide Levys or Planet waves straps and find them really good and they can be picked up for £20-£30 depending what style and width you have

8. I only really go to a pub if there is a band on I want to see but other than that I do not go in to pubs as I have to travel into town and not being able to drive it is a taxi job and that costs alot mind you if I am honest I have not been in a pub for about 2 years and I only drink alcohol at Christmas in small quantity's I dread to think how much a pint is nowadays. I do like the small country pubs in the summer as they have a good atmosphere I don't really like weatherspoon type pubs as I think they are what I would call Mcdonalds pubs lol
9. I have been looking around at pickups and have seen some Toneriders and they look like they are the kind of thing I am after so has anyone on here used them? or know if they are any good? 11.
Nice, the kind of relic I'd go for. A 50 year old bass that has been lovingly looked after, not dragged along behind a car.
I think its only about 3 years old it was made in 2010 I had to re-read it I thought it was 1964 also....anyhow nice bass GLWTS

19. Just got a loom from John it arrived at light speed and John was super helpful in helping me decide exactly what I needed a super duper FANTASTIC service a real gem of a basschatter 10 out of 10
20. I have never been a huge Fender fanboy (but recently I'm really liking them) but I really do see the appeal of modding them easy to get parts and lots of fun to play with but if I had a grand or so to spend on a bass to be honest I would not really be wanting to change anything as the parts should be of a high quality any way on a bass that costs that much but if it was a MIM that I got cheap I could justify modding it but that is just my opinion but it really is up to the individual how much there bass costs and what they want to spend on it.
21. A SD Quater pounder and a new distortion pedal of some sort
