1.
Forgive me if I'm being slow witted (though I am both blonde and a bass player, so make the necessary allowances), but I don't quite catch your drift re the Frankenstein thing....?
Could it be like FrankenFender? I'm lost too
2. Hi Guys do any of you know a UK seller that sells block inlay decals? I have tried ebay but the are mostly USA sellers? And are these block inlay decals any good? as I wasn't sure whether they would rub of and look really shabby with playing. Thanks in advance
3. This should of sold by now is a very nice bass GLWTS mate
4. Fraser just purchased a pedal from me it was a very easy deal and I found Fraser to be nice and easy going and polite, and he let me know the pedal had arrived with him safely which is something I always appreciate. 10/10
5. I have used cheap tuner pedals and they are OK at best really the only one I had that was any good was a Joyo JT-55 but I bought a used Boss TU-2 from here a while ago and now I think it is the most valuble pedal I now own I did not used to like Boss tuners but now I am a real convert and I think it tracks quickly and is mega accurate I think it is better to buy a decent used pedal like the Boss or another great Tuner is the Korg pitch black both can be picked up for about £40 used on here
6.
Blobby Blobby Blobby!! I reckon Mr Blobby is the banker on deal or no deal
I think he is Noel Edmons and Barbara Cartlands love child lol
7.
Maybe. But It's nice if a young beginner can try a guitar first and buy it from a decent local music shop and get some aftercare. That might not be possible in the OPs location.
Good point I didn't think of that
8.
Just remember: measure twice, cut once
LOL I saw that that and nearly fell off my chair laughing you cheeky devil you lol
9. I think the Harley Benton range from Thomann is as good as any for a beginner
10. When I get time and more funds I will hopefully be trying out more cheap strings and reviewing them as alot of people need cheap get me by strings next on my list are the Picantos
11. OMG looks like a school kids project gone wrong
12. I sold all my discs on ebay about 2 years ago but if I buy one I rip it to my MP3 player and put the disc in the cupboard and forget about it
13.
Sick of tyre-kickers and time-wasters BUMP
Plenty of those about lately it is a shame too say anyway GLWTS

16. My basschat header just turned blue and said IPS Community instead of basschat it is OK now but did this happen to anyone else ?
17. Just to clarify to I cover the whole inside of the control cavity ie just stick the shielding over the wood and everywhere inside ? Thanks
18.
I wonder if some of you guys wrap your pedals in cling film or something....what wrong with a little cosmetic damage (if you can even call it that), it's a stomp box! you stomp on it! The price is because of what is inside, and this pedal is bloody brilliant.
Pretty much this +1
19. Just a little follow up really, the strings seem to be performing well after about 3 months of lightish use considering there price but what I have noticed is that they seem to lose a lot of tension and feel almost floppy especially the E string, They are still loads better than most cheap strings out there and the customer service from there website is fantastic I told them about the tension problem (dead E string) and they said next time I ordered I could have a free pack of strings but I have not taken this offer up as I want to try other products. So I think they are still good value for money as a spare set or a set too put on a cheap bass or even a bass for a child as they are nice and soft on the fingers etc etc but I don't think they are for a gigging player. So I think all in all I would score them a 6.5/10
20. I nearly always used Ernie Ball super slinkys and think they are a great string but I am currently experimenting with cheaper brands (£10 or less) at the minute I am using Picato 735 standard gauge strings and they seem good and are in budget and they also have some very favourable reviews on here and other websites but I have not had them on my bass long enough for me to know if I like them or not. I also have a bass strung with Daddario pro steels and I really like those they seem to stay bright for ages and have a nice tension.
21.
I've used that supplier a couple of times and have been more than happy with the service and product.
Cool I shall order some then
22.
Yes ideal - you can get wider tape or even sheets - less joins 1m would do a P bass I reckon.
Why thank you kind sir
23. Hi All I want to shield my pickguard and control cavity would this stuff be suitable?
