I was just wondering if there are any good cheapo bass distortion/overdrive pedals that are worth trying for lets say around £40 new or used I just want to play about with them at home so obviously not looking to buy any top end gear. I already have a Boss ODB-3 and a Behringer vintage tube overdrive (believe it or not the Behringer is surprisingly good) but just wondered what else you guys could throw into the mix. cheers

I was a huge fan of them but anything after the black album in my eyes is a pile of brown steaming stuff but that's just my opinion

Might work but looks like a great way to bugger up your fret board? or am I wrong?

I have used guitar pro clone that is free online called Tuxguitar with the Bass plugins but it does not let you play along to youtube it just plays along the song beat wise that you download and you follow the tab on screen or theres guitar pro 6 I have not tried it as it is expensive. Just give it a whirl mate as long as its not going to cost you financially you don't really have much to lose and it could be a stop gap until you find something better or it could surprise you and work out really well? who knows? but good luck whatever you do mate

I don't get this relic thing they just look like really abused instruments maybe it is just me as I like to keep my stuff in the best condition I can.

Just bought an amp from Greg he was a great guy to deal with really polite and helpful. Greg got the amp to me in great time it was also very well packed and in great condition, I would buy from Greg again without hesitation a big thumbs up and thanks
